We need a good game manager at qb with at least some accuracy. Milroe is holding back passcatchers & backs from scoring

Exactly we have literally won national championships with game managers at QBs. Not freak athletes who had legs. Aj mccarron, Jake Coker, and Mac jones. He’ll even throw Tua in there because he was more of a pass but could run when needed. I’d rather have a qb who can pass and then run.

That’s crazy, Ryan Grubb actually had Penix under center quite often and they ran the ball out the Ace formation. Nick Sheridan is really wasting talent on offense and I feel like we struggled and lost last week for no reason, because we’re really a quadruple threat offense because we have elite receivers, more than a couple elite Tight Ends, Jam Miller and Haynes, then Milroe and his legs; so it really doesn’t make sense for us to be one dimensional and unproductive on purpose when we could stay in 12 personnel when it’s working and run the ball and screen to the Tight Ends as well and go back Air Raid when it’s working and whenever we need to. It’s not like any of these teams can just dominate us, we’ve just been beating ourselves. If we can make UGA look like easy work then there’s no way we shouldn’t look to manhandle other teams and blow them out of the water. I mean where’s the mean streak and urgency?

Dead on right….Not just the offense looking stupidly predictable but the defense is as has or worse! Seems to me that if you’re going to run this D then you have to send a blitz by a different man often to keep opposing qb on his heels. You can’t put 3 guys up front and expect to pressure the qb. Opposing teams have had their success through air mainly because qb has the time to go through reads!

Milroe is an athletic blind squirrel that occasionally finds a big yardage nut. Beyond that, he is not a good QB. IMO Jalen does not have the mental capacity to run the offense. He constantly ignores open receivers on underneath routes, and it seems that he gets overwhelmed at times and suffers from brain freeze. He limits what the OC can do, because he can't execute the game with any consistency. The deficits in his short/ intermediate passing game are holding the team back.

If the handling of Milroe and this offense is ANY indication, what shape do you think KD and the boys have gotten poor Simpson in and could he possibly be ready to play good ball? But I'm with you, he should've played last year from get-go. The guy was recruited as a passer and at least LOOKS like he grasps the concept of progressions.

You can't make someone a QB just because they want to be one, you are born to do it or your not, we went to number 1 to number 14 and why would you not just see what happens if you give the other QB a chance, it's happened about 3 times when our QB gets hurt and someone who was supposed to be nobody comes in and nobody can believe he can make throws and he doesn't want to run because he isn't no running back, he's going 2 find someone to throw it to because that's all he's ever done. But we are already out of it and why not let one play a quarter and then the next one and just see what happens. We have to know what you have, some just don't do good in practice but in a game they know this might be my chance. You don't think he wants a chance to see because it's going to throw off the defense because he is new and they didn't practice for him. I say you have to if JM doesn't have us up by 14 at half time and we are behind, you have to know because you never would have had a Tom Brady if the QB didn't get hurt, Tom never would have played but you have to do something else and we can't help it with feelings and I don't care about people talking about JM being number 2 to be picked in the draft, I will believe it when I see it because if he's number 2, nobody has a QB in college. The NFL isn't going to take JM seriously because they have running backs, he's going to have to prove what he can do with his arm and 3 years ago I would have asked if I could change to be a running back because I can run, I'll never make the throws they will want me to make in the NFL, I have a chance if I run. They already think Young was a mistake because he can't do anything in the NFL and he looks like a different player and he ran for his life on Alabama and made throws and he's running for his life in the NFL and can't get nothing going, Hurts is alright but I would try something because you could have someone who the team starts to believe in if he starts to get the ball down the field and he brings something new, you want know in practice, you find out in a game but I am not the coach

Discipline. That is what has totally fallen apart. Coach Saban was extremely disciplined. Maybe even too much. It is now like high school when there’s a substitute teacher. Everyone is just going wild doing whatever they want. No one is committed to the team and succeeding as a team. Milroe is not a good QB. Do you know why Ryan Willam’s looks so amazing? Because he can twist and contort his body to catch Milroes inaccurate passes. Most receivers can’t do what he can do. I suspect he will be in the portal before his time is up. He’s the only one consistently producing. Until Alabama starts playing Alabama football and the coach takes control of this team. I expect the shitshow to continue.

It shows he doesn't know personnel, he is only pass-happy minded, does not care about running the ball or a combo of all of it! The video of Nick Sheridan, in the booth, with his hands on his face tells me he isn't going to work. This is ultimately on Coach DeBoer. Maybe it is too early to tell. I'm not sure I would believe that. He hired every staff, save a few members of the original Alabama staff. The players that stuck around are SEC championship players, 3 star, 4 star and 5 star recruits! Coach DeBoer may have known this was coming and it takes a bit of time for the winning each and every game to start happening. But he may have also bitten off more than he can chew. Pending on the rest of this season and especially next season will predict Coach DeBoer time at Alabama. ROLL TIDE!! ❤❤

It's funny how these fanatics blame Milroe 100% for Bama's problems. When anybody can see they are not running the ball the way it was expected or could with 5 star running backs on the field. I like RW, but you have 3 great Tight Ends get them the ball. Coaching is 70% of the problem. Milroe is hurt, too. You can tell when he runs, and he has been hesitant to run. He must read the defense better and eliminate turnovers. Play calling and running the ball will fix that. Bama has to be better on defense and eliminate penalties.

BOOM. NAILED IT. Now that defenses have shut him down and made him one dimensional it's glaringly obvious he cannot play QB. He's literally staring down one wr every play he has no pocket awareness he takes huges sacks etc..3 years and this is what we've got. He's reached his ceiling which isn't very high and it's just time to make a change

It's not politics. It's how the world is. You, Alabama sports fans want to criticize young men about their actions but endorse the same actions of a man running for president.

They are averaging only 25 pass attempts per game and attempted 45 once.. which was the game they won 63-0. Get your facts straight

Even well trained soldiers cannot fight right, when commanders are idiots! Don’t blame the Bama players. The coaching staff don’t have any idea to play with the well trained Bama players!

Thry all are new just as Saban was and lost 6 games his first year. Go listen yo what Saban said as he is a fan now and you allow for growth everything is new the coaches 36 plsyers left when Saban left so we have a young team. Everything is new. Give it time as Reggie Ragland said as well and try another QB.
