My focus was on the defense who got out to big leads the first 2 weeks but found themselves hanging on to eventually win. I really liked how the defense finished the game. The offense is going to come around but the defense is going to be necessary if we want to beat some of the good teams. Go EAGLES, Go Defense!!

I'm a Tampabay Buccaneers fan🏴‍☠️🏈here in Florida and I have to say that I even rooted for the Philly Eagles in the Superbowl! I was disappointed that my Bucs team lost but we got beat by the better football team on the field Monday night.We just need MORE power passing offense.Anyway,the Eagles looked really great! I can't be a sore loser.The Tampabay Buccaneers can't win 🏈games with minimal offense.Hopefully,we get better! I'm happy with Mayfield as our QB👍

Brian Johnson needs to improve as a play caller. We left too many points off the board against the Bucs, and you can’t do that against a team like the 49ers or Dolphins and expect to win. This should not be difficult to fix, the cause is obvious. Brian Johnson’s playcalling instantly becomes overly aggressive when the offense crosses midfield. We abandon the run game and start taking shots at the end zone, and all of a sudden we end up in 3rd and long situations on our opponent’s side of the field despite the fact that our RB1 is averaging 8 yards a carry through the first half. I don’t recall seeing Swift take a handoff in the redzone all damn night. He just disappeared from the field as soon as we got close, and Gainwell came in. With all due respect to Gainwell, there is no reason Swift should only be getting 5 carries in the first half when he’s averaging 8 yards per touch and Gainwell is only averaging 3.5. If this were a close game, against an elite football team like the 49ers, abandoning our greatest strength like that when it mattered most - on our opponent’s side of the field and in the redzone - would have lost us the game. There is no excuse for this offense, which runs the ball as effectively and consistently as it does, to repeatedly find itself in 3rd and long situations as soon as we cross midfield. 1st and 10 at the 45 is not the time to take a shot at the end zone ON EVERY DRIVE. You need to establish the run BEFORE you start taking deep shots, not after. And establishing the run means proving you can score with it, not just getting empty yards.
