Watching Nick cook is always a great reminder that you are doing alright as an adult and everything is going to be fine
@standdownrobots_ihaveoldglory24 күн бұрын
I’m going to give Nick the benefit of the doubt and assume this is really a “hey you’re doing just fine video.” And I’m a 54 yr old mom of a young adult, let me say- you ARE doing fine! I remember us Gen Xers & young boomers in our youth - we were dirtbags or we were the most shallow humans ever. We were not sure humanity would survive the Cold War, so we either went nuts for money or forgot to make any. And adulting??? Oh Lordy, even if your dad is gay, he had a pizza box end table at some point. And your mom ate Lean Cuisine until she found out she was pregnant with you. And everyone complained & said we were useless but their grandparents said the same about them. The nuclear family, with children leaving 18-21, is now typically considered a failed social experiment. Multi-generational family living is healthy & normal if you have a reasonably healthy family. My son’s father has a pretty big extended family that mostly lives within 2 hrs of each other & adulting is gradual, with lots of help from multiple adults. Don’t be gaslit into self-doubt, you youngs are doing just fine overall. Society changes no matter what & the parents of any generation are really the ones to blame for unproductive traits 😂

the best tip I can offer someone learning to cook is this; speaking from personal experience. watch videos for recipes to learn recipes and practice. and more importantly, make sure you prep by making sure you have all the ingredients and cookware and utensils you will need. that way you can follow along with any recipe much more easily since all you have to do after prepping is cook and assemble the dish. good luck as you practice Nick. Happy Holigays queen ❤🧡💛💚💙💜
