One of Jacksonville's top players at one time. Probably still in the top 10-20 today. Thanks for posting this video. I've known Dave for the last 3-4 years since I started playing pool in College. Park Avenue Billiards in Orange Park FL was at one time the stomping ground for great players.

BTW, at 1:49:30, it was the six ball which Dave moved slightly with his stick, not the fourteen ball. I had to review it a few times, trying to figure out how the fourteen was moved when the stick never got near it. :)

In 2000 Nick Varner lived in Florida - How do I know for sure ? ... I lived about 30 minutes away and played a lot at Pro Billiards in Orlando . At Pro Billiards around this time in 2000 I saw Nick Varner - Buddy Hall - Johnny Archer - Mike Siegal and many great Hall Of Fame / Future players come through . Nick Varner in this video is wearing a titanium Breitling Aerospace as he flashed it along with his beautiful Ebony & Ivory pool cue . How do I know ? Because I saw it on his wrist with my own eyes at Pro Billiards in Orlando Florida in and around 2000 . Charlie " The Korean Dragon " Williams was the " House Pro " around this time in 2000 if I remember correctly . A very tragic murder took place at Pro Billiards in Orlando Florida somewhere around 2000 ... So so sad 💔😭💔 .
