Its completely wrong FWIW - if you stop digesting food, you die, if food rots in your stomach and produces gas, you die....the gut is down to organ growth from the GROWTH hormone, good old osmosis and the TVA muscle becoming elastic from overeating.

Steel Mill work is hard & honorable work. Bodybuilding is an easy life when you do it at your pace. Competetive bodybuilding on the other hand can be hell in a hand basket if you're relying on and pushing chemistry damn near year round with a $3,000-5K food bill just to feed yourself. Competetive bodybuilding in its current state, is the dumbest shit someone could do to themselves, you are fighting your body's natural processes all the way to the stage and to an early grave. Bodybuilding isn't really that easy because these dudes are basically pushing to boundaries of a normal body to the extremes. Not everyone can be a bodybuilder because it does take a lot of hard work and you have to dedicate basically your whole life to the sport. I hear bodybuilders say that they had no life because of the sport. They had to drop relationships due to the sport. The real hard part is the mental aspect of it

This has been the most unbiased, mature, and logical take on Nick Walker's situation. I have seen some videos that the authors should be ashamed of making. Thank you for breaking this down scientifically and explaining exactly what different substances do to the human body. Media makes heroes of elite bodybuilders, which is the golden ring that makes so many young athletes aspire to being pros, but what is the worth of wealth and fame when your heart could give out on you in your 30's or early 40's as has happened to so many young competitors? The dark side of this side is pitch black indeed....

You’re probably right Larry but I don’t understand why Nick isn’t transparent about it. They kept saying stuff like « he only thrive in chaos, he had a tough year »… what a load of bs. He should use that opportunity and his huge following to make people realize the danger of GH and insulin and maybe shift open bodybuilding to a healthier state. Of course it’s sad for him but if that can help people down the line that would be worth it to be honest

Just chiming in here. Insulin doesn’t affect digestion of food I believe. Only the absorption of the glucose in your blood after it’s been digested. The GH gut I think can be more contribute to your organs growing in size from the GH and also liver damage from being overstimulated by GH. Liver produces albumin which is the most abundant protein in your plasma so if your liver is damaged, you don’t have enough albumin. This causes flow of water from your plasma in your blood to peritoneal space in your stomach also causing further gut distending. This is also what some people call beer gut, which is caused by liver damage from alcohol.

I think he should have started fasting and doing cardio and losing size on purpose and ride the rebound like a newb, it would look bad him on stage with shrimp legs, but the before and after would probably be epic.

I think it's a lot worse than what Larry thinks. I would contend that Nick has an enlarged heart, fatty liver disease, thyroid problems, as well as insulin resistance. Nick has serious health problems that is obvious to me. Nick's bodybuilding career is over, I only hope that his life is not over?

It’s laughable that this dude says nick has been improving his life in the last 5-6 months like taking life treating levels of steroids and human growth hormones is absolutely a great way to improve one’s health. 🤦‍♂️

This is what I think too. You can tell Nick has ramped extreme gear doses and Bostin Lloyd did reveal some of Matt’s protocols and they were crazy. Also, I’m not quite sure where Nicks extreme loyalty to Matt lies. Is it the access to all pharma grade gear? Dom actually had nick clean out and put a big emphasis on his health; it seems silly that Nick would give that up. Matt seems to have some sort of leverage / control over him and you can see it with how Nick seems more concerned to win the Olympia for Matt than he does for himself.

I was very disappointed when I saw him in the Ny show. I thought his gut was definitely bulging a bit and he was lucky to win. His physic at the 2022 Olympia was amazing and I’m not sure he can get back to that level. He should have never got back with Matt. It’s been down hill ever since.

look at his waist... his organs have double in size and its no longer at a point where it can be controlled. To be fair stress adds to body fat and bloating. I have respect for him and give him props for making such a hard choice. Not a lot of people are this honest.

The best thing Nick did was working with Dominic super sliced , the worst thing he did was going back to Matt Jansen, Dom had him on all fasting protocols in order to maintain a tight waist , also really wise and smart regarding certain foods that help maintain a healthy body

Derek and Hadi work with Hany Rambod who learnt a lot from watching what happened to Phil's mid section. I'm sure he's Cycling GH/slin instead of using it 365 days a year like some.
