At 35 years old Michael Jordan was the league’s scoring champion, the league MVP, the All-Star game MVP, led the playoffs in scoring, won the finals and the finals MVP while Lebron wasn’t making the playoffs Edit: Yes, I screwed up the year, Lebron was 35yrs old when he won the 2020 Finals. But my point was Nick is picking random ages that you could say “Lebron is better” and fine. But what about when they were 34? Jordan Finals MVP, scoring champ, and finished 2nd in MVP votes and made 1st all defensive with the 2nd most votes as well. Lebron at 34, missed the playoffs, finished 11th in MVP votes and not even in the top 50 in all defensive votes. What about 33yrs old? Well definitely a better year for Lebron, made the finals and finished 2nd in MVPs and didn’t make the all defensive team but finished 32nd in votes. Jordan at 33yrs old? Finals win, Finals MVP, regular season MVP, scoring champ, and again 2nd most votes on the 1st team all defensive team. What you cats fail to understand is I am a Lebron fan, I’m a huge Cavs fan who grew up 20miles outside Cle and was a soph in HS when Lebron was a Jr and literally heckled MJ in his last game vs the Cavs after he ANOTHER game winner on us that Lebron was coming to dethrone him. I spent almost my entire adult life hoping and rooting for Lebron to dethrone him. I even convinced myself he did after 2016 cause Lebron was so damn good those 4 years back in Cle. But even when I actually did think Lebron was better I was never such an assclown that I started acting like Jordan wasn’t the greatest athletic show on Earth for a decade and the only reason he became so popular was bc he played “no competition.” Honestly the avg fan didn’t give a shit if he won any championships, he did stuff on the basketball court no one had ever seen, put up numbers no one had ever seen, and the TWO 3peats were just the cherrys on top

Ppl on purpose not to mention the opponents MJ played against, in that era Danny Ainge, Dennis Johnson, Jeff Hornacek, Mark Price…were stars. Players were averagely more skinny, smaller, slower, only a few can jump high or shoot 3’s, no big man can dribble, no eurosteps, no shammgod. They played brute, but no skills. Hand check yes, but no zone defense, to which Kobe said “I don’t care if yo hand check with 3 hands” “the zone I think cripples some of the top scorers” When prime MJ left the bulls in 93’ the went from 57 wins to 55, when prime LeBron left cavaliers in 10’ they went 62 wins to 19. And MJ fans always lie about MJ stuff, for example "his vertical jump is 48 inches" and "his body fat ratio is 3%" If those were true, LeBron & Carter would have a 50 inch vertical jump and Helmut Strebl would have -3% body fat ratio.
