Yeah, it's weird, before the CC thing happened @FTF, I liked Nick a lot. I think becoming the lead guy on a debate show caused some of the more obnoxious aspects of his personality to be at the forefront. His pod and appearances like this humanize and make him more personable. Showcasing his knowledge without all of the condescension, bravado, and blustering.

Oh C'mon..."LeBron won WITHOUT Kyrie, he won without D-Wade, Kareem won in Milwaukee, in Los Angeles SEVERAL times..." Yeah...it's almost like Kareem NEVER won without one of the 2 greatest PGs in NBA history on the TWO teams he played on(Oscar and Magic were pretty universally regarded as the best and 2nd best for a long time). Meanwhile LeBron bounced around from team to team to find other HOFers. Does anyone REALLY think Jordan couldn't have done that? I'd genuinely like to know who the "other scorer" was on Jordan's Bulls teams when he got there? Orlando Woolridge? FOH...

@@ZimMill I mean...I don't wanna denigrate KAJ, he's amazing and I don't think there were 3 players better than him(Magic, Worthy and who are you thinking BTW?)...BUT, it's just the arguments are so lazy. Jordan couldn't win without Pippen? So what? Kareem wasn't winning in LA until Magic came along. 'Bron wasn't winning until he teamed up with the best 4 and a top 5 SG all-time. I think Jordan's the 🐐. But say KAJ, say Bron...just don't get me the stupid arguments. And to be fair, people take shots at LeBron that are weak. But goddamn. The problem with Kareem's legacy (on the court) is the fact that his peak 1971-1977 occurred while guys like Dr. J, Rick Barry, Artis Gilmore, Dan Issel, Spencer Haywood, Billy Cunningham, George Gervin and Moses Malone were playing in the ABA. Four of his six MVPs, his Championship and Finals MVP with the Bucks, and both of his scoring titles happened while the ABA and NBA were separate leagues. And as was stated in the video, he played 1B to Magic's 1A on most of those "Showtime" titles. That stuff matters. Jordan and LeBron were always the best players on their championship teams. ALWAYS. That counts for something. Or at least it should.

It's amazing how they knock MJ for having Pippen but don't think how he would have gone to win on another team by teaming up with Olajuwon and Wilkins or other great players. He obviously didn't need to. MJ won with one current allstar on his team 5 times and 1 with no current allstar. Now look at the massive list of allstars the other 2 played with.

Who did Cavs draft or trade for in LeBron’s first 7 years close to Scottie Pippen Horace Grant or BJ Armstrong (who was all Star year after MJ retired and they went 55-27 without him and were a bad call away vs Knicks of being big favorites vs my Pacers in ECF)? That’s why LeBron left! LeBron first 7 years his teams had no one close to the best players MJ Magic Bird Kobe Shaq Kareem Russell Wilt Duncan Curry Durant Hakeem (although after Sampson hurt he had very little help his whole career which is why O have him as 3rd/4th/5th/6th best of the last 50 years right there Kareem Bird Magic…MJ & LeBron my Co GOAT and love both and seen them both live 50+ x as pops has center court row 10 season tickets since 87-88 and had 10 games or so 2 years before that!) How LeBron left Cleveland was bad PR/optically but LeBron would of been dumb to not leave. Cavs from 2000-2013 drafting and team building was horrid! They literally could of had Joe Johnson Dame Kawhi/Klay, Giannis/Oladipo just to name a few! They let Carlos Boozer walk for nothing! DeJuan Wagner was hurt whole career. If you can’t admit LeBron’s first 7 years he had less help in terms of other multiple times All stars or HOF then you just ignoring reality. MJ was under .500 in 5 years without Pippen (1-9 in playoffs). Every player only as great as their TEAMMATES/Coaching/GM/ownership! MJ was God tier 85-90 his first 6 years but was 24-29 in playoffs bc his TEAMS weren’t as great as Celtics Pistons Bucks or Magic (in 95). MJ LeBron Hakeem Bird Kareem Isiah Durant etc etc have all had amazing years/season/series but they lost to the better TEAM!

The fact that they didn't award DPOY in Kareem's day also takes a lot away from how we perceive his legacy. He also CONTINUED to dominate when they introduced the 3pt line, which was put into play to limit the advantages of playing down low. That rule was introduced and went against Kareem. The Jordan rules were put in directly to help Jordan make it through the playoffs.

Everyone forgets that MJ's fandom and reverence is not just because of his 6 championships or because of his Scoring Titles, but because of his ability to mesmerize the public with his Style, Athletic Ability, Hang time, Slam Dunk Wins while jumping from the free throw line, unbelievable In-Game Dunks, aesthetics on the court, none of which existed with Kareem's super effective but monotonous Skyhook. There's never been a better combination of such Superior Athletic Ability, Individual Success, Team Success, Marketability and Popularity. While LeBron is close in all of the above aspects but MJ was still better. And if you don't believe then checkout the TV Viewership of MJ's finals and you will realise how he raised the NBA to another level which is unmatched even after 30 years with a larger population and more Affordable & Accessible Viewing experience. Also I am surprised that despite being so knowledgeable about NBA history Nick while talking about Kareem ignored that Almost Half of the Best Players were in the ABA while Kareem was scoring 24,000 of his 38,000 points... This leads me to believe that Nick is being Dishonest about Kareem just to make sure the debate turns to Kareem vs MJ instead of MJ vs LeBron which by all metrics even by advanced analytics is in favour of MJ, while LeBron only has longevity in his favour against MJ..

Jordan DID just do it differently. But...it was like he was the older kid picking on the younger kids sometimes. Go look at Jordan best ball fake(I'm sure YOU have, but if someone hasn't)...the way he'd palm the ball and just have these grown men taking 3 false steps the wrong way and then just lay the ball up...it was incredible. That said, style points aren't THAT important to me or I'd have Dominique in my top 10(though I do still think he's criminally underrated). Jordan is just the BEST to do it.

Nick was born in October 1984. He doesn’t remember even old Kareem as he was 4 when he retired. He also doesn’t remember 87-93 MJ which is God tier MJ. MJ and LeBron are my Co GOAT (super duper early 80s baby nearly late 70s) and after them best I’ve seen are Hakeem & Bird (whose first 11/9 years are God tier also), but I was too young to see prime Kareem. Magic right there too. Many ppl underrate Hakeem who if he had same teammates/coaching/FO/ownership as Russell Wilt Kareem Duncan Shaq he’d have 2-6x as many titles and if they were on Rockets 84-85 to 97-98 they’d all have 0-2 titles at most . I’ve been to 1500+ NBA games since mid 80s center court row 10 and MJ LeBron Hakeem Bird at their best still best I’ve seen! Colin Roders per game stats in the playoffs are mostly all > Brady and most other QBs. You know this, but for some reason you’re like Skip Bayless with Rodgers (it’s your blind spot for sure), but NFL is 53 man roster and he has nothing to do with his teams defense, special teams, o-line, etc! Brady won a SB in 2001 (BS tuck rule so shouldn’t of happened) throwing ONE TD the whole playoffs! He beat Rams scoring 13 points bc his defense gave up under like 3 points! Also watch the 4 episode documentary on psychedelics on Netflix. There are many studies showing how it helps with mental health, depression, seizures, etc. All drugs are made from stuff yet Colin has a problem with these natural plants bc he’s thinking acid from 60s and 70s. Many diff cultures have used these for 1000s of years too. Just look at how weed was looked at in 1800s then 1900s and now the last 15 years!

LeBron competition: Iggy, McGrady, Vince Carter, Shawn marion, Paul George, kawiai Lenord, Paul Pierce, Demar Derozen, Jimmy butler. 🤔 80's guys who couldn't even jump with Jordan like Joe Dumars or LeBron hurdles Iggy who can jump out the gym. Jordan got tex Winter after Jordan couldn't figure out Stop going 1 on 3 . Triangle gave space and answers to bet Pistons after LOSING to same team 3xtimes in a Row. That isn't especially load like Steph and K.D. warriors. Jordan also had 3 tragedy in the east Len Bais (biggest physical college rival) Reggie Lewis dies also (block Jordan 4xtimes in one game) Dazen Pertovic Died (offensive player just starting to open up 3pt line). Jordan had Nike Marketing. His early loses glossed over. Magic 95 loses fake excuses. He avg 30 in the series ( not back my ass). Here's a fun Jordan stat. Michael Jordan entered the NBA in 1984, but didn't play with his first all star until Scottie Pippen in 1990. That season and and 1995 seasons were the only seasons (as a member of the Bulls) where Jordan didn't win the title with another all star. Pippren entered the league in 1987 and averaged 7 ppg. Jordan won his first series vs Cleveland and average 45/5/4 . Pippen averaged 10/5/2. I'm not knocking Scottie, because he was a rookie.

Jordan playing 7 less years than Kareem and LeBron but still having the championships is a point for Jordan. Interesting how they bring up why Jordan couldn't win without Pippen. They find it as a knock on his GOAT resume for being LOYAL to one team rather than jumping ship and joining superstars such as Wade, Bosh, and Kyrie. The fact of the matter is that Jordan did more than Lebron and Kareem in less time. For the Kareem fans, they argue that he has as many rings as Jordan and more MVPs, well he won a few of those while the ABA existed and the majority of the players were in the ABA. None of the "top 3" GOAT players had anyone as good as Magic, who in my opinion has a better argument than Lebron and Kareem for number 2. As far as Lebron is concerned, he couldn't win with the team he had at Cleveland so he quit on them and left to a team with an ESTABLISHED champion in Wade. Interestingly, when DWADE was of no use to him he bailed on Miami and went back to to Cleveland with a rising superstar in Kyrie. See the pattern? Lebron is loyal to only himself he doesn't care who's game is effected as long as he pads his stats.

Let’s add some objectivity to this MJ debate (which is bullshit might I add) but mj fans aren’t objective about it. I am a huge mj fan. Growing up I had season tickets to watch MJ for a lot of his early career and for 2 of his finals runs. But let’s be objective here…. When MJ retired in 93 the bulls the next season only lost 2 more games than when MJ played. You want to tell me MJ is worth 2 regular season wins? I’m not arguing playoffs we all know what MJ was in the playoffs but even still, the bulls without MJ made the playoffs and even farther than that they made the conference semi finals. Now let’s look at LeBron. The season after LeBron left the cavs the first time they had just went 61-21, after he left they went 19-63. For the cavs, LeBron was responsible for 40 more regular season wins than MJ was to the bulls. Then when LeBron left the Heat I’m 2013 they were 54-28 after he left they were 37-45 WITH DWADE AND BOSH STILL ON THE TEAM. So again LeBron was single handedly responsible for 15 more wins to the heat in 2013 than MJ was to the bulls in 94. Then AGAIN when Lebron goes back to Cleveland he leaves in 2018 when they were 50-32 the season after they were 19-63. So time again we see LeBron is far more valuable to his team than MJ was the bulls. I know mj fanboys aren’t gonna like to hear this because I was once just like you; blinded by the stardom MJ who as a kid and as I was growing up walked on water. He was head and shoulders above everyone else but things change. LeBron is a better player than MJ is but MJ has a greater legacy. I leave this on one last note for y’all, if LeBron had so much more help than MJ why was MJ’s team so much better than LeBron’s teams after they departed? (The second cavs departure doesn’t count because Kyrie left as well) but y’all talk about LeBron like wade and bosh carried him and those 2 combined without bron could only win 37 games and miss the playoffs? It hurts me to seem like I’m trashing MJ because I’m not but y’all can’t remain objective. Stop letting the legacy of MJ blind you from seeing the facts

MJ’s team performed better because they actually ran a system where MJ wasn’t making all of the decisions on offense. Also they were desperate the first year MJ retired to get out of his shadow. Nobody talks about the second year and what their record was. But, point is, MJ sacrificed just personal stats for a system that empowered his teammates, which made their team better as a whole. LeBron can only or has only chosen to play in the LeBron system where he dominates the ball and makes the majority of the decisions on offense, so when he leaves a team they have to find a new identity.

These guys dumb? Jordan stayed with the same team. How many chips did Lebron win before he stacked his teams?

Funny how listeners are praising how good these two guys are together. But we are talking about the top 50 all time. Honestly they do this to get more views. If you ask them to be honest they will say Jordan is the best ever. I mean if these two are so smart and informed and great story tellers they should tell the real story, there will never be another player like Michael Jordan. This story will be a great and a real one.

Besides the anti Jordan propaganda, nick Is likable. I like the fact he defends bron because bron has always gotten too much hate, but his Jordan delusions are WILD 😂
