As someone owning these both phones, there is just two things that apple does better or has luck in. First more banks support apple pay than they do google wallet. I just keep that iphone around because of banking stuff... and second its app animations are still a little nicer. Thats all. For everything else the s24 ultra beats it by far

I would definitely rather have the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra over the iPhone 15 Pro Max. I currently have the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra and although it's a year older, I believe it's also better than the iPhone 15 Pro Max. I don't ever see myself going back to an iPhone or even switching to another Android phone as long as Samsung keeps its Galaxy S Series and Ultra phones on the market. The Google Pixel 8 Pro would be the next best phone in my opinion after the Samsung Galaxy S Series and Ultra phones but I'm now 100% fully converted to the Samsung ecosystem and will forever be a Samsung fanboy from this point on.

yeah as Iphone 15PM user, I admit that I was doubting, to buy it or the s24U... (I was coming from a galaxy note 9) but to be honest, choose the 15 PM was a better choice (for me). I also need to say that one of the real thing that apple have over all other brands are the link between all the accessories, is way superior easily the next level and other brands are year behind. But, in conclusion both phones are outstanding, and yes the S24u have more stuff... no matter what u choose, both are the best of the best

I dont like the fact that the Samsung followed some apple footsteps: removed fm radio removed headphone jack, removed brick And on their own part discontinued beam. Another thing is their poor marketing is not making people see the reason to look at their base model flagships phones as powerful. The Exynos comeback wasn't launched properly as people are still skeptical about it due to past experiences.

This is coming from a S22+ user. As much as I really like what Samsung is doing with their S24 Ultra, I really wish they'd bring their camera tech to S24 and S24+. The only reason I am not interested in the Ultra is because of the size.. Apple brings all the latest camera tech to their 6.1 inch Pro model, and I think Samsung should do that as well.

But that's the difference between buying the Ultra and buying the standard model. The battery size, screen size, and cameras are different. It also has the S Pen. The s24 still has AI features, great battery life, the same storage speeds, 120hz, and a new gen chip. Apple may have the 15 pro to compensate for the Promax, but the base 15 and 15 plus only have 60hz, they have slower charging, slower transfer speeds, and last years chip. Samsung is doing it way better.

This is all subjective. If you just take the two devices, then yes, functionality wise the S24 Ultra has more to offer than iPhone. However for many iPhone users it’s about the overall package and yes you can call it the ecosystem. Apple products work seamlessly with each other, and most have more than one Apple product. It’s only been of recent years that Android have stepped up their game. However it still isn’t on parr with Apple’s overall offerings. If you are heavily invested in Apple products making the switch to Android just for a phone that won’t work seamlessly with other products you have or people you regularly communicate with, isn’t worth it in the long run, unless you have endless amounts of cash and can buy the latest and greatest. Both devices are great in their own right, but for many who own an iPhone it’s for the package/service/ecosystem/connectivity, whatever you want to call it - not just the mobile phone.

I have a samsung TV, two phone, a tablet, and a samsung washer and I can control them all from 1 phone. All of their functions. I can even get washer and dryer updates on my tv or phone while I'm not home. Also Samsung Dex with mutli control can allow you to use 1 mouse and keyboard to controll all your devices like a multi-screen computer. Samsung has a way crazier ecosystem

I’m an Apple user and I’d love to make the switch to Android but there are some Apple products and services I prefer to use and some a necessity because of circumstance… I like your set up though 👍

I own both of these phones and they both have their pros and cons. I find that with all the AI features it just keeps getting more complicated to use my S24 ultra. And with the new iOS 18 features with Apple’s latest AI I can’t remember where these features are on the phone. I forget my phone has these fantastic features. When I do find them I forget how to use them. You seriously have to ask yourself, do I want a phone, or a camera, or a computer when you shop for a cell phone?

Nick could you please check something for me? When I use the circle tosearch over the camera app, so when I open the cam to point on some item and then use cts to look for it, scrolling through the results feels super laggy, like insane drop in fps. Same happens when I open the fb messenger chat head over the camera, feels super laggy, especially when scrolling through gallery to send some photos or videos. It also might be a bit strange, but I feel like these issues weren`t there before I did a factory reset. I wanted to wipe my phone from accounts I made by mistake (first time with samsung) and then after reset it became a bit slower I think. I`d love to know your opinion, thanks! Edit: I forgot to mention, by default the samsung apps were installed but after the factory reset none of them were preinstalled. As if the "after" factory reset OS is different than when you first boot up the brand new phone. They were grayed out. Please if you could tell if that was the same case to you, thanks!

I went to Best Buy today to play with both phones. I love the display of the iphone and the pictures on it are insane! The ultra is just too big for my liking. And the fingerprint sensor just fails way too often and forces to enter passcode. Pro max size and weight, and build quality is just better. And I’ve owned many note/ultra phones and never used the pen. Loose the pen, add larger battery and make the phone smaller and less boxy.
