Hi Nick, great review as always. Here in the densely populated parts (i.e. most!) of the UK we are generally under ever increasing pressure to reduce the noise profile of our sport. Clubs are losing sites all the time due this. Large ducted pusher so called "Whoops" do NOT help, they are usually obnoxiously noisy, and that important issue is generically passed over unmentioned in many reviews. It would REALLY help the more restricted area users if you took and published noise profiles. Just needs a noise meter and a tripod. Noise meters are not a big spend item. It would help enormously if users and reviewers spotlighted on and fed back the noise issue to makers, there has to be a better way and we need it addressed before we are overly restricted or banned!

Hey Nick, You have in the description and title as Cinebot but you were correct in the video to call it "CineLog". Just figured I point it out, hope you and your family have a happy new year.

I cant make my mind up on a smaller drone that i cant fly inside or outside... im looking for a 3" or smaller as ive always flown bigger quads and love the Avata 2 so what drone would you recommend for carrying a 03 and maybe a naked hero.

Im pretty sure the camera soft mounting is purely to remove any vibrations to the 03 on board electronic image stabilisation only. Its not designed to replace electronic stabilisation
@slowvoltage4 күн бұрын
lock that O3 down and test again if the tune is good, the rigid changes would make the soft mount bobble the good tune feels this and attempts to correct, causing the issue again and again I appreciate you 🙏🏽

Why didnt you fly in inside as it is a whoop style drone?
@NickBurnsFPV3 күн бұрын
Its big and very loud. I don't fly quads in the house over 2inch prop. Not practical .
@nikhayes33964 күн бұрын
@10:00 that almost seemed like “airmode” bounces but, you probably already know that, seems like airmode does that funky bounce on arming and landing with certain weight quads, do you fly with airmode on all the time? I always put airmode on a switch that way I can perch or if I bounce off of a stick or wall I quickly switch off airmode. I am sure you know all of this. Just didnt mention it at all.
@NickBurnsFPV3 күн бұрын
Yes, its similar, but have ever seen in in larger quads, normally that is something we might see with traditional 65-75mm whoops.
@nikhayes33963 күн бұрын
@@NickBurnsFPV I put airmode on a switch on my Air75 and Meteor75 because if I land it jitters with airmode but turn it off and I can land perfectly quiet and still, also I have a line around my house where I go under a bed and if I get too close to the bottom of the bed it vacuums itself to the thing, so I quickly flip it off whip around the bed post and flip it back on. Also in the house if I hit the wall it will vacuum to the wall. So to the point... Can you try to turn off airmode and see if that thing does the jitter dance like that? I am guessing you fly with airmode always on? If you turn it off in betaflight in the configuration tab "air mode always on" a "mode" opens up and you can put it on an aux switch in the modes tab. And yeah I fly with it on, but I like to be able to turn it off, and yeah I know on a 500+ gram 5" its a lot worse that is true, but I can post a video of me landing my 75mm with airmode on and it does that same slight jitter not the same bounce dance a 5" drone does but that Jitter, and a video of landing with it off, and it just lands and goes to a quiet idle. Vs with Airmode on the Idle goes up and it does a little jitter.

lol I have a rates video linked in the description. I use the same rates with no expo or curve on all quads

How your neighbours cope with the noise when you fly outside?
@NickBurnsFPV3 күн бұрын
I have a good relationship with all my neighbors. Most of the quads I fly aren't as noisy as a lawn mower or blower. And I don't fly when they are outside enjoying their outside space.

Yah. If I was going to fly it without the GoPro, I wouldn't bother to license it up here in Canada. Assuming your scales are correct it's, like, not even 2% over the limit, give or take, even with the mount attached. I doubt TC would dip me in it over less than 5 grams over limit.

Thanks for the review. I have a very poor opinion of Geprc. Having owned most of the cinewhoop models and either sold them or just took the loss and parted them out. Over engineered IMO and for me the camera dampening system is garbage along with the prop guards and motors. My last attempt at Geprc was with the Cinebot 25 V2. I had the same issues with the camera and I put it up for sale. I have given Geprc more than enough of my money and would not recommend their cinewhoops to anyone.
@superdstar20014 күн бұрын
You stated multiple times that you don't like GepRC, but the only negative thing you've said is that some components are "garbage". Lots of people, including myself, would disagree with you. I have a Cinebot30 and it's been all over the country. Started as analog and swapped it to Moonlight when I got digital goggles. I would recommend it to everyone.
@apollodorusII4 күн бұрын
Which cinewhoop would you recommend for smooth, cinematic flights? Thanks in advance.
@FlybyJames4 күн бұрын
@@superdstar2001 My opinion. The prop guards are garbage on the cinelogs, the motors are garbage and so is the camera dampening. Not much left besides the frame and FC. I have owned Cinelog20 Cinelog 25v1 and v2, Cinebot 25v2 and Cinelog 35v1. I have sold 2 of them and parted out the rest. I am not the only one with the same issues with the product lines. I fly my whoops hard and Geprc doesn't hold up to even a little bit of abuse. I have a bag of those damn damping balls and floss, cant even recall how many Ive had to replace. All my Geps ended up with broken guards, broken motors and camera vibrations/jello. If all I did was use the Gep's for real estate shoots they might be sufficient but even then there is much better options. IMO

@@apollodorusII IMO Best results are always with custom drones. For indoor use I love the Pavo 25 v2, I replaced the lavas for 1504's 3100kv.Very smooth great for slow/flat indoor flying with a naked Gopro. For outdoor use I have had good luck with Axis Flying C30 and C35 v2 frames.The Speedybee 35 BNF is a nice cruising drone. I have a full lineup of custom Hurricane 20-35 inch frames from CNCdrones, great for Gopros. If I had to choose a BNF I would go Speedybee35 for outdoor smooth cruising and the Pavo 25v2 for indoor/outdoor gopro shots. Sub 250 Huma 20, Flytimes/Flylens BNF's for indoor 03 shots.

@ Your experience is 4-5 of almost primarily the exact same product of the exact same size. How could you possibly form an opinion of an entire company based on that? My GepRC products have been great. They’ve held up to lots of abuse. The motors have never had an issue on any of the ones I’ve used. The prop protection is a good mix of weight and durability. The camera dampening works as intended. I’ve flown a naked GoPro, a runcam 5, an Action4, and I’ve had 0 problems. If it was not popular, they would stop using it.
