It's probably the last memory he has of her before his entire life was changed forever, how can anyone blame him for wanting to hold onto that? His last moments of normalcy with her and if that helps him cope with the loss, then fuck anyone who rags on the guy for it. Hey, as a guy from Denmark, I just wanted to say Albert Soap, better known here as Albert Dyrlund was so much more than “just a youtuber”. He was an absolutely massive celebrity in Denmark and many young people, including me, grew up watching his videos. No, you don't understand; I would've thought it crazy as well had it not happened to me, too. It was back in primary school. I was about 12/13 at the time, waiting with my friends to be picked up after school. We had ended a sports match super late, so we were the only ones present. We noticed a guy wearing all black walking down the street towards us. He looked scary, but we nervously laughed it off. A few moments later, one of my friend's aunt had come to walk him and his sister home, so they left. I kid you not, out of NOWHERE, that dark-clothed man bolted past us and repeatedly kicked the poor girl over and over. You'd swear we were playing hide and seek, the way we all dispersed in 2.5 seconds! After brutalising the poor child, he walked off like nothing happened. She was crying her head off as her aunt screamed in terror. Turns out, he was on drugs and apparently "possessed". However, I put my bet strongly on the former. Shocking stuff, I tell you.

Like, did they gouge their eyes out, look up the address and neatly mail them in or did they know they were going to gouge their eyes out and had already set up the envelopes for mailing or did they have a friend or family member that waited for them to finish gouging out their eyes so they could prepare the letter together? I do want to make a minor correction- the "hydrophobia" symptom of rabies can involve what looks like a fear of water, but it's more complicated than that. Rabies tends to cause aggressive throat spasms upon any attempts to swallow liquids, including saliva- even thinking of swallowing can induce spasms, which creates the appearance of "fear" of liquid. There's probably also a psychological component given we instinctually avoid uncomfortable or painful actions, but the fear presented is mostly the result of involuntary muscle spasming. ALSO, the "living dog head" experiment is generally thought nowadays to be Soviet propaganda, and depending on who you talk to, it was either completely fake or the dog's head only "survived" for a few minutes. You can't exactly...un-kill a brain by putting blood and oxygen back in it, unfortunately.
@janedoex13982 жыл бұрын
Thanks that bothered me as well. Also : Rabies still kills 50k to 75 k people mostly in India and Afrika since there are many stray animals - ao it's often chhildren who suffer a bite or scratch - and the vaxxines (PEP and autoimmun factots) have to be administered within a time span to (I believe 72 hours max.) after a bite OR even a small scratch. ( animals lick themselves and the virus is in the saliva) There are 2 foems od rabies, the typical known one "aggressive " one and the " paralytic one where mostly neurological symptoms occur like the animal being wobbly, going in circles , twitching or seizing, not following their typical circadian rythm etc. And many small villages are so far out, medical help isn't available in time, OR if they reach a facility, they don't have the vaxxines available.

If you care to scour the resources back far enough in history, you can find recipes for just about everything sooner or later. There have always been people with a penchant to avoid wasting anything. Hunting isn't easy, nor is it reliable. Sometimes you can find game to kill, and sometimes you just can't... The wind's against you. There's just too much dry and broken brush... A strange blight hits their favorite vegetation in the area and they migrate early... You can keep tabs on the herds for thousands of miles and year around, and they can STILL throw you for a loop... and you go hungry. Raising livestock has a trade-off. Reliable meat source, but all the hazards of protecting a herd of your own, avoiding internal turmoil (so turning out all the young males)... avoiding inbreeding past a species limit... predators... thieves from neighboring villages... blights on vegetation STILL wreak havoc... learning about hay and straw... what's passable... what's poisonous but the stupid beasts will eat it anyway... ...yeesh... If we ALL had to raise and slaughter our own meals, we'd be a LOT more respectful than we are of our food sources... BUT in the old days, there were recipes to eat or use just about everything but the squeal... ;o)

10:53 The Paris catacombs one would be probably one of the only ones that I would believe to be real, because the Paris Catacombs are a very real place, and only about 1% of the area has been located and mapped by the owners. And considering how deep the tunnels descend in altitude and the number of pathways and turns, especially since the rest of the catacombs are unmapped and so much deeper underground, thereby making them illegal for explorers to access, it can be incredibly easy to lose your way down there. So this is one of the only ones I would believe to be actually true.

I doubt anyone is going to read this but: The whole situation with Gunnar Sigurþórsson and his cold-blooded murder of Hannes Helgason outlines a truly appalling side of Iceland's justice system. There are violent crimes and murders here like everywhere else. Saying it's very peaceful here is like saying that a very small town is peaceful: it's small. Every crime is shocking because there are relatively few people committing them, but it's not necessarily disproportionate to crime rates elsewhere. Gunnar's sentence and treatment by the justice system was EXTREMELY lenient, in my opinion. He received the longest prison sentence anyone CAN receive here, which is only 16 years, and then he wasn't even deemed fit to serve out his sentence in an actual prison. While waiting for his trial and sentencing, Gunnar was held in a place called Sogn, which is a mental health ward for convicts. He also served the majority of his sentence there and was approved for day passes outside of the ward in 2017. He was diagnosed with a personality disorder, the treatment of which required no form of medication and minimal therapy. He was fully aware of his actions and he planned the crime meticulously. I have difficulty believing this man has been rehabilitated in any way. He murdered an innocent man because he was obsessed with his wife and then this same obsession fizzled out almost immediately after his arrest by his OWN admission. Men who obsess over women like this to the point of stalking and then committing such violent acts as a direct result of those obsessions will never not be dangerous to me. I do not want to meet him in a dark alley. Or on the bus. It's horrific enough to realise he attends classes at my university. Edit: Not to mention the fact that the psycho moved right back to the same town he used to live in, where Hannes's family also still resides...and then whined endlessly about how difficult it was for him to find a job in said town. Madness.

There are various traditional foods around the world that include blood as an ingredient but it is cow or othe animal blood. The black soup that was featured in that video (Svartsoppa) is actual Swedish traditional food but of course in reality is never made from human blood. In my country (Finland) we also have some traditional foods with blood in them but no one eats Svartsoppa. :)

@@TheLyingFigure Czernina/Czarnina. I've never had it, but my grandpa has told me stories of his family making it, how they would go to the market and pick out a live duck for it, then the butcher would take the duck to the back and cut its head off right then and there. This wasn't even in Poland either, just Detroit in the 50s. Kinda wild.

@@Pehmokettu in Philippines there is a pork dish called “Dinuguan” which (I think) comes from the Filipino word “dugo” which is “blood” in English, and it is made with pig blood. The divers who rescued the guy-and the man himself-did an amazing job. Perfectly communicated everything that needed to be done, when, how to do it, in such a calm and positive way that even without any diving experience they all got out calmly and quickly with zero trip ups. Really outstanding job by everyone involved. Communication with rescuees, divers, and the dive master up top are absolutely vital and the way everyone handled the situation was perfect. Total textbook example of how to rescue dive properly. I sort of wonder if the guy thought he was just hallucinating, because he remained extremely calm the whole time. (Also side note, the voices are high because they are on Tri-Mix gas, which is Oxygen, Nitrogen, and Helium)

This video randomly popped up in my recommended and I just want to talk about Shannon for a minute. I got to meet and spend the weekend with her before she passed in the falls, as I was dating another whitewater kayaker at the time and who also was kayaking those same falls days before. It cannot be said enough how tirelessly the other kayakers she was with that day worked to get her out of the falls to make sure her family could properly put her to rest.

Animal abuse is really one of the most vile things a human being can post online, but I am glad that they expose themselves so that they can be doxxed & arrested. What pisses me off is how lenient the fines & jail sentences are. We need to pressure politicians & use the fact that serial killers always start with animals before they move on to children & the elderly as an excuse to make the sentences more substantial.
@whits_end_ Жыл бұрын
people are so desensitized to animal abuse. It's painfully awful and I agree with you wholeheartedly. It's sad that the act of abusing animals isn't enough and the argument for more severe punishments has to include "statistically people who abuse animals will move on to abusing and harming people as well." Makes me want to scream.
@dieyng Жыл бұрын
@@whits_end_ funny, in my experience, people are much more desensitized when it comes to killing humans. The same people who might say about someone being shot by the cops without need that "they deserved it" due to some minor criminal acts they committed, will completely lose it, if a dog is killed. Don't get me wrong, animal abuse is horrible, but it's absolutely weird to me that many people seem to have more of a problem with animals being abused or killed, than they have with the same happening to people. Your post, actually being case in point, so many horrible true cases being referenced here, and you and the OP chose to comment about three frigging hamsters and old experiments on dogs.
@kenw9681 Жыл бұрын
@@whits_end_ If you see what you honestly believe are criminal animal abuse videos, on any social media platform, you can try and report them and their publishers to a wide variety of police agencies. You can also band together with others, to file these kind of criminal complaints. You're right, when you said that professional studies show that many adult serial killers said that they liked to torture animals, or got caught doing this, when they were children. The police you complain to may not have the resources, for various reasons, to pursue your complaint. But remember to be polite and honest at all times, when you approach a police agency. If nothing else, they may keep your complaints on file for years, and they'll know about these crimes, and they may share them with other police agencies for eventual prosecution. Don't downplay these crimes, or be misled into thinking that those who complain about them aren't also worried even more about other crimes like those against humans, because there's no way of telling if someone doesn't care about them as much or even more, without asking him or her directly.

FOR THOSE WHO WONDERING: Abdulrahman collapsed after a kick to the neck and had a dramatic seizure. He was removed from the game and immediately taken to hospital. Contrary to rumours of his death, or being taken by the angel of death, he was fit to play in the next game for Hajer against Dhamk. In fact, he is still alive and playing today in Tunisia or the United Arab Emirates.Still to this day people continue to label videos of the incident 'taken away by the angel of death' on KZbin. It's called epilepsia cursiva. It is a very rare type of seizure and originates in the temporal lobe. (Right underneath where the opposition player's foot hit him) It causes psychomotor symptoms such as lip smacking, repetitive blinking etc, and in very rare cases can cause 'running fits' whether forward or backwards such as those seen here. It is quite rare to the point it isn't referenced in many medical texts outside of specialist neurology texts.
