It’s NC&St.L 576’s whistle, which is a home shop built long bell 3 chime. Very close to a Hancock in sound though, so understandable why it gets mistaken for one.

I know it was shop built, but most shop built whistles are patterned after offerings by companies that supply whistles, like Nathan and Hancock. This is no exception.

@@FanRailer Patterned yes. But this one was made specifically by the shop to slightly different dimensions, producing a slightly different sound (even though it has a hancock base its a unique whistle bell). -- source, am guy who is working on a highly accurate 3D model of the whistle for future educational use by NSPS.
