It's a weird phenomenon lol EVERYONE loved Nickelback when they came out, they had chart toppin hit after hit and people respected the amazing quality of their music. Then, outta no where, it just became cool to hate Nickelback or talk about how terrible they are.... based on... nothing. People did it for eCred and it just kept snowballing until practically anyone you ask would claim to dislike Nickelback, right up until you put on 1 of their songs and those same haters are suddenly rockin out.

Well, I'm 76, and from the UK. I first heard Nickelback, after watching a DVD which I think was about Spiderman. The song was sung and delivered by Nickelback at the end of the film, accompanied by a rough looking guy, whose name escapes me, but was absolutely fantastic. They sung 'against' each other, and was the best song I'd heard from that period ever. I bought the DVD, just to watch it again and again. Since then, I've bought all the other of their CD'S, and have not been dis-appointed, but amazed by their talent. In my opinion, they are the best 'rock group' on this planet. I'm British, and still maintain they are better than any British rock group that ever lived! Even better than Black Sabbath! What a pity I didn't see them live, either here or in the States.

I know that may sound a little harsh, but the amount of tone deaf people I've seen on shows like 'American Idol' - or insert another country - that have no idea that they have no talent, seem astonishing to me. All their friends telling them they are great, but in reality...that couldn't be further from their friends' opinions.
