I could've sworn I remember seeing Double Dare in one of those 1985 bumpers. But I saw some commercials from late August 1986 and it confirmed that they started using the newer bumpers by then.

0:01 These Coming Next Bumpers started on June 3, 1985. That was the day Turkey Television debuted and the day Nickelodeon expanded to twenty-four hours a day (night programing was filled with the Nickelodeon weekend shows until July 1985 when Nick-At-Nite debuted).

I would have to agree with you, Because I too miss the Old Nickelodeon Era, it had the Best Cartoons and Shows Ever!!!, I too miss the 1985 and 1988 ones, I just Love watching the 80s Nickelodeon Cartoons, It's such a shame that Kids Today Don't know what Great Cartoons Are these days, If I ever Build a Time machine and Gone Back in time, I would bring back the following 1985 and 1988 Old Nickelodeon Cartoons and Shows, Like, 1. Alvin and the Chipmunks. - 1983. 2. Mister Wizard's World. 3. Adventures of Little Koala. Anime Series. 4. Eureka's Castle. 5. The World of David the Gnome. Animated Series. (R.I.P Tom Bosley). 6. They looked so much like an art student threw up on an old-school video editing rig and made a collage out of the chunks. Also Bugs (@ 5:19) looks like the announcer held him at gunpoint.
