Love the "Sirens" analogy! Jisoo was wearing the pink wig and tripped, Rosé followed her swinging on the chandelier. The Jisoo scene is actually a statement about fame and social media. We see the press and public photographing the mural of Jisoo in her "celebrity image", as they believe she always looks. Meanwhile she is standing right in front of them, her real self is much different than what they believe. When she "trips", which symbolizes having a real life personal problem or issue, everyone turns on her. They don masks to become anonymous as their phones turn into guns and they "shoot" her, trying to ruin her life and career.

So the katana that Lisa seems to carry around anywhere is only seen here and in Shut Down. Shut Down's M/V concept is looking back at all their past songs including parts of the M/V of the old songs. The katana came from 4D (Ddu du ddu du) and it got a callback in Shut Down. The tank here is shown in Shut Down. Jisoo with her self-portraits are in Shut Down as well. Rose swinging in a chandelier is in Shut Down too. Typing this now, wow I realized there were many scenes here that made it in Shut Down.

Million dollar question to me.....don't know why they are not all over the radio here. They are popular here but they are beyond massive everywhere else in the world! I had never heard of them as late as October 2020 but stumbled across their Netflix doc. Only turned it on because I think Korean women are about the most beautiful. That certainly didn't change after this. But it did change my life. I'm obsessed with them, their path, their talent, their work ethic, their female empowerment. I also thought fun "rabbit hole" and now that rabbit hole as become everything. I live in San Diego but have flown to Houston for a concert then two weeks later to Newark for one. Will be going to Las Vegas and I would go to Dodger Stadium if I was in So Cal at the time. They are my Beatles moment. I only have been to 12 concerts in my life. 10 Elton John and 2 Blackpink. I would love to even that total up some how! Just beyond impressed.

A little side-trip you might make is to watch them do their live version of Miguel's 'Sure Thing.' It's just them sitting on stools at a live TV show in Korea in 2017 at a time just after their first three singles Whistle, Boombayah and Playing With Fire, (all of which you must also check out!) but before DDU-DU DDU-DU. The way their voices drop in and out in harmony with each other, both singing and rapping at the same time, is stunning. It also stirs an emotional response that's hard to resist.

Jisoo is the the singer with a Alto voice, very unique coarse low tones, Rose is the soprano singer, very light beautiful high angelic voice, Rose’s singing style also tends to be stylistically sang with her australian accent which i find unique and very interesting, Lisa is the rapper, her voice is sobrette soprano from what ive seen she has a vocal range of F#3 to A#5 more or less, she has a very good flow and her presentation and delivery is usually quite swaggy, she is the embodiment of swag, very vesitile and she has incredibly sharp dance moves. Jennie is also a soprano but due to her different parts its difficult to guess specifically her type and range, never the less incredibly talented, her rap style tends to be less swag but more intense and very aggresive, i would guess from her minimal rap parts that she can in fact rap at a very high level, i believe she also helps with writing some rap parts which is not usual for heavily marketed kpop bands as they are usually discourage to do this. I hope this helps you to recognise them easier. Also lisa almost always has bangs and Jennie is the one that has a very youthfull appearance. Rose has a distinctly angelic fairy type look and Jisoo has a mysterious sultry look.

I suggest maybe reacting to one of their songs that doesn't have a video, but a color coded lyrics. These not only have each individual lyrics but they have a picture light up as to who is singing. I suggest "Typa girl " or "The Happiest girl " from their new album.

lol, no roasting but at the end you switched Jisoo and Jennie (not bad though!) Regarding the final image of the girls with the pink smoke, they said that they had to freeze in place and not blink while the pink smoke bombs went off, hold their position until the director yelled "cut!", then run at top speed because the pink smoke engulfed the set! Also, you were correct, the set for the final dance break is based on a Korean temple design. To give you an example of the level of detail in their videos, go to 8:06 in your reaction. You see the girls walking down a triangular hallway while they are singing. They are actually "INSIDE" the temple, and you can see the wall behind them sliding forward as they walk. In the next scene they emerge from the temple and the door keeps moving forward, finally sealing the temple closed as the dance break begins! You have to be aware of it to notice but it's amazing how much thought goes into every image that you see in the video! They have "Making Of" videos for all of their music videos, I've seen full scenes that they've shot that were used for two seconds of screen time!

Best way for a Newbie to get a better idea and look into Blackpink Members is to watch a Guide To Blackpink; An Unhelpful Guide or the 2022 Guides are the best *imo* and they also have tons of Content from Blackpink House and 24/365 with Blackpink. It's more in their earlier years and Netflix's Special from 2020 Light Up The Sky Documentary was very Insightful! Also there are tons of Interviews and separate events a member or members attended that you can watch and their individual KZbin Content and Their recent Born Pink Tour has a Vlog Series BPM=Born Pink Memories {tons of behind the scenes of their MV's and Events they attended, getting ready for their Born Pink Tour/Tour Footage along with down time stuff and more}... then just continue down the amazing rabbit hole that is Blackpink via their Music and Videos and you should be good lol also it sounds like you really Admire and Like Rose.. She did do a show where she waitresses and sings by the seaside and it's absolutely stunning and calming!! Lalisa has LiliFilm in which she does some amazing choreography!! {there's a short film as well so 5 vids that are a Must Watch!!... Would def recommend seeing those performances along each members Solo Music and Videos!!
