young angel and young lion are what drake and lil wayne call themselves, also onika maraj is nicki’s real name. this song was like a reconciliation between the young money trio, since drake and nicki weren’t on good terms for years. In fact, Drake was very shady when he collaborated with her abusive ex meek mill or when he hanged a lot with the migos and cardi b in the peek of the nicki hate train. Later, after nicki became a mother she would make the passes in "whole lotta choppas remix" inviting him to a playdate between "adonis" (drake son) and "papa bear" (nicki son). By relaunching the "beam me up scotty" mixtape, Nicki would add three songs, one of them Seeing green, which she claimed on an ig live that drake gave her the instrumental and "got her off a writer's block".
