Some people don’t realize that without Nicki, Cardi B, Megan Thee Stallion, and Doja Cat wouldn’t have a career. She was one of the first steps to female rappers taking over the industry. If Nicki were to take another path, we would not only not have Nicki, we most likely would not have female rappers like we have today, or any at all. Only male rappers would dominate the industry. Edit: I know Lil Kim did do quite a bit for the industry but Nicki was the first female rapper to make all types of rap possible, she gave people inspiration to do what she did. Ask some of the female rappers we have today who inspired them, they will all say Nicki. Nicki has done SO MUCH for the rap industry that she paved a way for female rappers and inspired many female rappers today. She fought all those comments about “Women can’t rap, quit, your not good enough” so female rappers didn’t have to hear those comments. She made female rapping easier to be in the spotlight. I hear your points but please understand she had to hear all these men talk about “Women can’t rap” so women today who rap don’t have to hear those things. Lil Kim also paved a way for female rappers, so did others, but Nicki by far made the longest pave way. She’s a queen, shes elegant, she can be sad, she can be a badass, she can ruin rappers careers, she can bring your rap careers to life and help you, and she can be whoever or whomever she wants to be whether u are kind or a bitch to her. She is one of the most important things that happened to the rap industry. And I’m not saying others aren’t important but it’s a fact she did more than just rap.
