Praying for you and sending love, light and healing vibes to you. I was recently diagnosed with a bunch of issues as well one is my throat closes on food while eating, Dysphagia. I think it's from the Ozempic I took for over a year. But the other stuff is as well (Barrett's esophagus, Gastritis, a hiatal hernia, acid reflux, more). They don't tell me that but nothing showed up till after I was taking it and quit a year later when my pharmacy couldn't get it in a few months. I can barely eat and have lost tons of weight, down from nearly 200 lbs to 133. I just can't gain and its scary because it can go wrong but I just keep going and trying to do what's needed even the hard painful stuff doctors have to do to research. Hang in there. Love ya girl. I got severely ill in 2016. They told me I had Chiari, but I had a prior MRI that showed no sagging…turned out I was leaking spinal fluid from a hole in my dura, so my brain was sagging due to the loss of CSF. Will be praying for you…I know how awful this is ❤ God bless!

In Jesus name, you will be ok! I also have chiarimalformation and it runs in my family. I had decompression surgery about 9 years ago and most of my symptoms went away. I was diagnosed in my 20s but it took almost 20 years for local doctors to understand the seriousness. I am fine today. You will also be ok. Do not be afraid. Thank God they found it.

Praise God you're being diagnosed. My husband's neice was diagnosed with dropping brain 20+ years ago and had surgery. She is a teacher to 3 years old now. I'm praying for you, your family, and your doctors. Your beautiful and God, as you know, will provide for you. Yesterday I was on Amazon purchasing one of your Bible Study books that will be delivered tomorrow. I was looking at your 10 monthly now I know why God is bringing me to you.

Yay!! I lowered the prices of my books on Amazon as much as I could about six months ago, so I’m making maybe $1 off a book. I wanted people to be able to afford them!!

I want books and many were yours and just couldn't afford them. I'm glad you didn't have to have surgery. Had lower back surgery for that problem in 2011 . Spinal taps hurt like heck !! Take care of yourself.

Hello, I just came across your KZbin channel. I am 53 and had surgery for Chiari Malformation 9 years ago. I sought a diagnosis for a year. I thought I was dying. I had weakness in my legs so bad that I was using a wheelchair. After surgery, the leg weakness is gone. If you have questions about the surgery feel free to message me.

@nickidrake Yes, I had blocked cerebral spinal fluid confirmed by a Cine Mri flow study. But I really had a borderline case of Chiari even though my symptoms were quite severe. I had a wonderful neurosurgeon in Ohio, Daniel Prevedello. You actually sound like a textbook Chiari case to me and pretty bad symptoms. I don't know how long you have suffered but someone should have noticed.

So sorry you are going through neuro/brain symptoms with the herniated discs. My 34-year-old daughter had a brain tumor removed in February, 2023. She has many neuro symptoms to deal with and I am now her caregiver. She used to be a preschool teacher, but now is confined to sitting most of the day. It is hard. It is hard when the neurosurgeon says he does not know what is showing on her recent MRI and that no surgery can be done, but her symptoms are getting worse. It is a lot for a mom to witness. BUT GOD...I am so thankful for His Word, it gives me comfort that He has everything under control and He has His plan. Trusting Him, as hard as it is at times, wondering how long He will allow her here on earth. BUT GOD will see us through. Seek out social services at your local hospital and see if there is any funding that may help your financial situation. I will add you to my prayer list. Your sister in Christ, Lori. I'm so glad they caught it when they did! I have it too but not to the point of needing surgery according to my neurosurgeon. It's definitely a birth defect. Have they ruled out Spina Bifida Occulta? Could explain your back pain along with the hernia. Praying for you. Let me know if you have questions

RN here. First off, you can refuse a student doctor or nurse at any time. You should have been asked for your permission. Second, no practitioner should stick you more than twice in a row with the exception of an emergency where no one else is available! I was just in the hospital for open heart surgery and am a difficult IV stick. The anesthesiologist that I was speaking to went by that same rule that I as an RN did with my coworkers years apart in very different facilities.
