It has been SO good lately to prioritize my Sabbath instead of working on things every day (I'm a teacher so there definitely always something to work on lol!) The peace I have when I take that step back on Sunday and rest my mind, body, AND soul (in prayer where I lay down everything and hear Him) is so worth it.

Ms. Nicki. Don't feel too bad. I'm 175 pounds and I'm 5'1. I've been exercising though for my PT for my knees. But I have a dietitian who said since my weight doesn't fluctuate, I'm getting the right nutrition for my body, and I need to concentrate on exercise to lose weight. She said 9 pounds would be good to start with.

Love it- a Nikki word 😂 I wondered if it was an adhd thing because I told my voice professor in college that while I'm singing I have commentary in my head from him and am adjusting WHILE I actively listen to myself AND self-evaluate 😂 he said nope he doesn't do that 😂😂😂

Also, I had a question. I'm behind in Psalms and Genesis. But is it more important to catch up on Genesis than Psalms? Also, I've read Genesis 2-3 times already. I like it a lot.

You can just listen to a Psalm a day!!

Are you familiar with FLYLADY? You might like her. She's Christian too. She helps with cleaning and cooking. Ms. Nicki I call that lifestyle: simplicitism. I try to keep the Sabbath, but my mom and I sometimes do something. Church is downstairs in the community room. Amen, amen, amen, Ms. Nicki. Have you watched "War Room" with Priscilla Shirer? Highly recommend it. It has the same message. -- God's grace.
