In 2002, writer and actress Nia Vardalos created a true romcom film phenomenon with "My Big Fat Greek Wedding." She had taken her story about, as The New York Times described it, a woman "emerging from her cocoon," from page to stage to screen. And it was a huge success, pulling in more than $368 million at the box office. It was a story Hollywood hadn't seen before, and it was highly refreshing for a huge audience.
Vardalos seems poised for superstardom, but she's remained relatively quiet in the years since. Yes, there was a "My Big Fat Greek Wedding" sequel and a short-lived TV series, and she appeared in a few other films, but Vardalos never had the ubiquity that so many other romcom stars have. Some of that has been by choice, some not. Here's why you don't see this "My Big Fat Greek Wedding" actress anymore.

❤❤ Okay I'm an old man now But if it's a Sunday afternoon I'm having Sunday lunch I always watch My Big Fat Greek Wedding1 and 2 when I want to have a good laugh 😅😂 Especially if things are not going well or looking good I understand the story and see where it goes But it does my good sense and it's all very Close to the truth Depending are you located almost very close to my grandparents and for some reason I always think of them in the same way you would I do look forward to watching the new film my Greek wedding 3 I've always been fond of the actress she's got beautiful brand eyes and a wonderful smile And she's always cheerful no matter what I know she's a great writer and a great Big personality and a great actor Just a person you could sit down to and have a coffee Especially looking at the sea and a beautiful surrounding I think she would top it off for me I always miss you the best and I hope she does something different I will always follow her probably to the diet I go

Only innacurate part of new film are the ashes of her dad in an urn over fireplace. Cremation is against the Greek Orthodox Church. Would NEVER allow cremation. They added the urn in for a laugh but she should have known this.
