BRUCE SPRINGSTEEN, believe it or not, can’t read or write music! He’s one of the most prolific songwriters of our time, but can’t read or write a single note. It comes down to having help get it down on paper. I am more disappointed that he made it through elementary school without learning than I am surprised that he wrote songs.
