Caitlin Clark wowed everyone on the college basketball court, but that didn't mean she was a slouch in the classroom. The numbers tell the tale.

I wonder when the WPGA contacts her and gets her to start playing golf??? Why go overseas, risk getting injured, when she can play golf, then all she has to do is walk the 18 holes, for four days. CAITLIN CLARK A 2 SPORT GOAT!!! HISTORY IN THE MAKING!!! All she has to do is go the courses that have Opens, and play as a rookie, if she wins, she's automatically a Pro. Also, she can have signings, and take in a lot more fans, get young girls to try more than 1 sport, then there's the health benefits, keep Caitlyn safe, keep her in the USA. Some countries have terrible security, and there's some countries, that might even take her hostage. If she can take this team to the playoffs, in her first year, that proves the GOAT or not question, if she wins it, she becomes LEGEND!!!

Being elite in both sports and academics shows her dedication on whatever she puts her mind to. There are other student athletes who have excelled in a similar way but there are not a lot of them. The hours they have to put in to be the best in the nation at their sport is already grueling physically and mentally. I do not know how they would still have the energy or a functioning brain after training to study for their subjects. It is an amazing feat for those who have done it. When I was in college, I can barely focus for 2 hours when reviewing for my finals.

She is a quadruple threat to all who are racists against her because they likely think that a black woman should be where she is She is white, she is bright, she is Catholic, and has an incredible god given gift that she is building a career of hard work on. It is so easy to be jealous of this woman. It appears she has a really nice guy and a wonderful supportive family that is intact She's a human being and from what I have heard sometimes she has acted out on the court. Of course no one else has done that remember it's just passion for the game I pray that she and her circle of strength never let these ugly and bitter racists who have learned nothing about what it means to be a true athlete to never bring her down and instead help her to become an even better player and an inspiration to all.

The money she made in college with the new NIL rules allowed Caitlan to turn pro and give up her remaining scholarship status with less worries. Veteran WNBA players never got that level of money and most of their critiques of Caitlan are due to jealousy. Yes she has been hyped as the new great white hope for GOAT but that's not her fault and that happens all the time. Caitlan probably could have milked the NIL money and endorsements another year and made 10 times her new pro salary while cruising in college. Yes she will make millions in endorsements as a pro but she took the challenge of going pro and passed up the safe sure thing of staying in college. No matter if she has been over hyped she will have to prove herself on the court in the WNBA, she is taking on the challenge very aware of this.

What classes did she take? Not trying to undermine, but a lot of athletes take complete BS classes that basically give you an A for nothing because the college pays for them to play. The colleges want them focused on the game; the academics part is just a formality. When's the last time you heard about an elite athlete missing games because of their GPA? If she took legit classes, that's awesome. Kudos and good job and congratulations.

Fully agree with you. I worked at a major university for 25 years and gave academic counseling to numerous student athletes. Those in the non-revenue sports are very dedicated to completing their degrees, but that's not the case with basketball and football, the revenue sports. Many treat athletics as nothing but prep for a pro career in sports, especially now that they are getting paid thru NIL. Academics is not their goal. They make a mockery of education and should not be in college. Let them go pro out of high school. Like in major league baseball. You can enlist in the military to serve your country at 18. It should be the same for all pro sports. NCCAA regs are a sham.
