Bro that’s a great place to put the back on I just ordered a cheap 40 dollar one as well and that back strip is perfect cause I was worried about the split fender for the exhaust great video btw

it wouldn't get stick if u use that strip at the back. just get a knife and poke it a bit then shove that zip ties that they provided. I put 6 zip ties on mine.

Idk about those screws, they may be wood screws. Idk how 3m tape would work or just go with some metal screws, depending where u securing it. Either way good vid and sets ur ST apart from others 👍

The tape is actually really strong. I just skipped the screws and added zip ties in case the tape gets weak one day

I use those screws on mine. cuz there's no place I can put em. then I'll just secure it with zip ties. don't put just a 3m tape on it.

They’re actually great! I haven’t had any problems and they’re the perfect amount of stiffness to make it more fun to drive but aren’t super uncomfortable. If you want something super smooth they probably aren’t the right choice but any upgrade will be stiff anyways. Worth the money in my opinion

Haran Valverde I have racelands as well on my ST. 2018. No complaints at all tbh. Now if you track your car probably not the best option. But for daily driving it’s completely fine.

Do u ever find these turning on by themselves? I have them on my Jeep and some days I go in the garage and they are on. I never leave them on when I leave my Jeep parked. I’ve heard of others having this issue with Govee products and even the household led lights they offer. Any insight would be appreciated. Looks good on your ride!

yeah i’ve had that happen several times i haven’t figured out a way to fix it

@@Nickjoenap I’m gonna add a simple toggle switch because I hear that the reason they do that is because of the way the led box is setup. They’ll do that from time to time if they lose power and then regain power when you start the car or use an accessory like the key fob to lock the doors. That’s how Govee explained it anyway lol. Thanks for the quick response. I hope you enjoy them as much as I do.

@@Nickjoenap Need to go in the app and set it so that only Your phone can turn them on. Star app, tap on the lights, then the little cog up in the top right corner then switch device safety on.

How did you get the negative wire on the battery terminal?

I had to take the battery strap off and pull it forward so I could reach it. Then I just put the wire under the bolt

@@Nickjoenap thanks bro figured it out a bit earlier did everything rything made sure everything was working fine and it was then when I went to set the car down off the jack stands the cable snapped somehow and now one of the strips don’t work so hopefully I can get another one
