makes me feel like i am floating through space checking out all the other planets as i fall asleep to it... instrumental music can sound, well, boring and generally, bad, but this is incredible, the playing, tones, arranging, writing, everything.. perfection! i don't know if you call it shred, it has neo classical and fusion runs etc but to me this too musical and classy to be called that, the blues licks are so tasty, taste, is a key word here.. this should be massive, if you have a disposable income support this artist!

It doesnt matter what people think ,nick is the best modern guitarist ,he has the ability to shred and do flashy stuff and he doesnt care about nothing but making good music ,and what makes him the best in my opinion is that he has his own unique style that you cant find in anyone and isnt repetitive with his stuff ,always something new with that lovely punch and feel that he has ,he is surely a person that makes the instrument talk and gives it it's own voice like it's a person speaking ,i cant wait to hear more things from this man

Well Nick - if I may state the bleeding obvious - coz, in this case, it can't be overstated. The reason you have received so many positive words in response to your music is because it totally deserves it! Your music is marvelously excellent! It is so much more musical, imaginative, colourful, emotionally powerful - more creative in every way than what most others have on offer. It is also totally devoid of the sickening array of 'loud, fast blues licks' that so many guitarists mindlessly trot out and employ in such a feeble attempt at creativity. Almost better than a breath of fresh air. 👏🏽∰👏🏽

Congratulations Sir Johnston! My friends say for years that I have to play my music out there .. I tell them that it is difficult to understand (In my opinion) the combination that is needed for this to happen. It's not just about talent, the right time or the right equipment. It does not make sense to me if you can not give your love and character through your music. Sir, you just did it in perfect way... .. this is a Masterpiece.

This is an absolute masterpiece. Compositionally it does so much for guitar focused music, but all the performances as excellent! I can spend an entire listening session on any of the other musicians on this track and have an awesome time. Thank you for this. When I hear people (who are fundamentally wrong) whine that good music don't get made anymore, I just play them this! No matter what genre you like, there's something here for you.

What a fantastic album. I love how in the last track, one of main themes comes back but in a slightly (I think only the last note is higher) different variation that makes it sound more optimistic. As if the struggles have been overcome and there is reason to be hopeful once again. Will be listening to this many times more. Thank you!

Two guitar players come to mind when I think "great nuance". Nick Johnston and Per Nilsson and you guys both have something in common. Some of the most nuanced, stylish playing I've ever heard, and you both make it look effortless while you're doing it. I love shredders of all kind, but as easy as you guys make it look, its just as easy to hear when you put this kind of touch and nuance into playing. Never a note out of place. Like you have the power to always play what is absolutely called for at the right moment.
