@@Katkaddajjen I tried to purchase a cd from Nick and after waiting a long time I emailed him and he told me that he went on tour and he does all the shipping himself. I waited some more and emailed him again and he said he sent it. I never got it so I contacted him again and said I was going to file a claim. He told me to go ahead if that is what I wanted to do. I thought about it and decided to just forget it and consider it a donation. I was really disappointed.

Your music is compositional on the same level as Lyle Workman 's stuff. Very, very deep, dynamic, and with so much musical integrity and soul. This trascends what normally defines typical guitar music.

Love your playing Nick! Your one of my top 5 favorite guitarists. Gotta say though, I think the vocals are taking away from the past 2 albums you put out. Your playing is beyond extraordinary and your voice is just ordinary. Seriously not trying to be a troll. I just haven't been able to get in to the last 2 albums while I listen to remarkably human, and eyes wide on repeat nearly every day. I think your audience is predominantly guitar nerds and we are ecstatic to hear your melodic shred for the duration of your album.

I agree totally. I think every artist should do what they please, but I find these vocals weak. I’d prefer he do separate vocal albums and instrumental ones. He’s entitled to do whatever he wants obviously, but I won’t be listening to this as a whole album. I seriously can’t enjoy the vocal tunes unfortunately. He is also my favourite modern guitar player by some distance. Anyway I’ve got his older albums to enjoy still. I don’t like to be negative as he seems like a great guy, but I feel he could lose some of his audience if he doesn’t take some criticism onboard.
@poisedtobreak2 жыл бұрын
I find the vocals to be spectacular. Everything on this album is incredible. Whatever you decide to do for the next album will sound amazing. Extremely well written and solid musicality. Everybody has their own opinion. If you chose to add vocals on the next album I'm sure it'll sound just as great. Your voice doesn't take anything away from the final composition at all. Whether you decide to be predominately instrumental or add a flare of vocals, anything you record is pure gold. Keep following your heart and writing epic music!

Nick I don’t think you realize (or maybe you do) how unique and original these melodies sound. I really think the next evolution in music is going to come from artist that technically have mastered the instrument but can somehow incorporate all that into a new kind of “catchy” song. I think you figured it out man. The chorus line on silver moon rising (starts at 1:40 of the song) gives me chills.
