Something to mention is Verhulst is one of the best Catalyst in the game and that character was almost non existent in LAN. Now Hal’s best character is Bloodhound him as well as Nickmercs. Great players can play all characters but everyone has a main

Reps puts out as much, if not more damage most games than both of them. He might not be the most flashy about it but the stats are there. Hal is an amazing IGL with his instincts and calls that work out for them, but he could not have won all those tourneys without Reps. Reps co-igl'd in the first couple years with Alb. I think now that hes out of Hal's shadow, people are going to realize how effective he really is.

The decision makes sense if you briefly look at it. However the more I think about it, the more I think it was incorrect. The TSM roaster has beaten DZ over and over again while winning tournaments. They just had one bad tournament. If DZ made an offer that was way better financially I would even understand that, but Hal said the money was the exact same as TSM. I think this was a decision made in emotion and Hal will probably come to regret it.

He mentioned that. And he mentioned that teams now are moving to comps were all the three players can frag, instead of the traditional "igl, fragger, support/anchor". That's why he mentioned damage as a factor. Also anchor players can output more damage than the igl and the fragger, like Genburten with dz, funfps with xset, gild with moist, knoqd with optic gaming...etc. And it's true that Hal always did the most damage and work, I watch scrims and tournaments, and in good games were tsm reaches top 5+, hal always has more than 2k and 2.5k damage while evan and jordan have like 1.4 or less. This doesn't mean that even and jordan are not good or something I love them both, Im just explaining the udea.
