I have a question…. @21:00 they pull over the Maxima for window tint too dark… but I noticed the window tint on the police vehicles was just as dark if not darker. Is there an exception to the law that allows police vehicles to have darker tint than regular citizens? Or is it just that they are police and allowed to have darker tint? Seriously curious. I do understand about the front windshield but I’ve seen them pullover people for the side windows. That’s what I’m asking about.

Not really. I drive for a living. I think a lot of people would be surprised at how many of those little white crosses you see on the interstate are not from people speeding but from people getting hit while sitting still on the shoulder. Happens all the time. One of our guys just got hit like that by another semi 4 days ago. The amount of people I see every day hauling ass and looking at their phones is insane. That's bad enough but you don't want that person flying by at 70 or 80mph when your standing on the shoulder. Pisses the cops off when you do that for good reason.

Nah it's only a problem when they say it's a problem! Otherwise we're supposed to think it's cool and get speed shots and engine sounds... These hypocrites do this all day, not just with the purpose of catching someone, even in marked vehicles. I live near a Georgia State Patrol administrative building. This is a building for payroll, interviews, testing, etc. These guys (not all, but plenty enough to notice) are often zipping well above the 25mph residential zone around us, tailgating, making aggressive maneuvers, not using blinkers, etc. Even giving them the benefit of doubt that they are going somewhere important on the way out, what about when I see them do all that going towards and turning into the admin building?

Speeding on the Florida turnpike is completely normal and expected by everyone. Typical speeds are 55 to 80. The only reason the speed limit sign says 55mph. Is because of a really outdated traffic laws when Noone was will to accept it was okay to drive at high speeds.

As a former Texas State Trooper now living in Pompano beach area I’ve have seen a whopping amount of aggressive driving here. There would be absolutely no way I’m giving a warning for some of the speeding stops I just witnessed. When I went to work, it’s all business and I am not going to waste my time giving out warnings! My job was to keep the motoring public as safe as I could. I would have had a field day around here.

Got pulled over doing 87 in a 65 in New Jersey by state trooper. I was amazed he just gave me a verbal warning after checking the registration , license and insurance. I was in a jeep track hawk. I couldn’t believe it . I had just picked it up from getting window tint that was way to dark and couldn’t even roll the windows down. He was understanding and didn’t even mention the window tint. Whew!! Never thought a NJ trooper would give a NY driver a break . I was amazed and grateful.

It's about time there's a Mustang worth FHP having. I remember when FHP started using Stangs in the mid-80s and they were FEARED. Never got pulled over by FHP without getting a ticket no matter how pleasent I was. Got some breaks, thank you, but still got the ticket. They're polite but not that friendly. I was unaware that the MOVE OVER LAW applies to disabled vehicles with their flashers on. This is NOT known by most drivers.

While I always try to move over for disabled vehicles, it is nearly impossible to do this in many cases. Now I know why most people drive in the center or left lane and avoid the right lane. Florida I-75 has a disabled vehicle about every 1000 feet.

He was never observed driving while on his phone so a ticket could not be issued for that. Also just because someone denies speeding, doesn't mean they should be ticketed. Seeing more and more cars with tinted windshields nowadays and as a motorcycle rider it sucks to not be able to tell which way someone's head is facing. We need to be able to see which way a drivers head is facing to make our own decisions on which way to go. So many people come flying up to stop signs from side streets and if you're not sure if they see you or not you end up being hesitant in your decision making and seconds do count.

It’s just a money grab like all the cameras they keep putting up while the roads we drive on never get fixed.

Hey man this is dope.. back in Cali we used to run from S.P.E.A.R. Look them up… special police enforcement against racers… Im an ex street racer and after doing 5 years I left it alone, now I do my racing on video games… where if I crash all it I’d push of a button to restart; no medical bills, no repairs to my car, and best of all? No jail time. Technology has came along way.. with VR and racing simulators there’s no need for street racing… not worth it…

I’m a FL native. Always show the respect of even rolling down the windows and hands on the wheel when getting pulled over. I’ve been given a ticket every single time. Obviously these guys are putting on a little show with the education and warning bs. Not one of these drivers even had the decency to have the window pre rolled down
