most of the things you do are not parkour, what you do are acrobatics, parkour is jumping long or climbing things, parkour is getting up to or down from difficult places, of course. This is parkour. Obviously it does not mean that what you do does not have enormous merit.

I’m gonna be that guy. This isn’t parkour, this is freerunning/gymnastics. Parkour is about economy of movement and the most efficient fastest way to move between two spaces. It isn’t about doing flips and showing off etc. In most of these examples it’s more efficient to just do it the normal way, so that’s ironically better in line with parkour than what you’re doing. Very impressive but not parkour. Thanks for coming to my TED talk.

So sure, this *exaggerates the practice of parkour to the point of parody* . But when you think of it, the *normie* , just happens to be living *in the real world where you have to share space with others* 1:47 crossing the streets flipping like that just means that everybody has to stop using the crossing so the kid gets to do some acrobatics. No contemplating that somebody might have an emergency and can't wait, or have reduced mobility and can't move out of the way. That attitude of: *"I'll just flail my arms about and you just have to move out of my way"* it's just plainly selfish and relying on the fact that most people will move out BECAUSE contrary to this hypothetical parkour kid on the crossing, most people make sure that they do not put others at risk. (ie. again, *think of the elderly person, not reacting on time to the mass of muscles that is going to round-kicked him into a comma* 🙄
