Could you give us a quick video on Tefzel vs TXL wire differences, and why you use what you use?
@littlelifters75436 ай бұрын
love your work, out of interest couldn’t you run all the shifter mounted wiring with the shift cable and have the connectors close to where the shift cable attaches to the trans. it could still flop out of the way or all be disconnected to remove it. there’s probably something i’m not thinking of.
@theholleyefiguy6 ай бұрын
Not really in this scenario

Wow love the 1/4 turn disconnect by the shift idea!!! Nick just do what Devin suggests, time and money saved by doing it correctly the first time!!

Amazon They’re the waterproof led light strips from under trucks and truck beds They’ve worked the best out of all the ones I’ve tried

What video do I watch to see how to properly measure wire length? I’ve cut so many wires too short or too long there has to be a simple method I’m just unaware of.
@MPHMayhem6 ай бұрын
Go back thru his videos and just watch them all to learn. Well worth the time. He did a video on it too
@b00st_SS6 ай бұрын
@@MPHMayhem I’ve been cutting wires the wrong length since before the internet was invented! And watched 90% of his videos. He’s gotta have a simple method here somewhere I understand that, I’ve just obviously missed it.
@theholleyefiguy6 ай бұрын
Use a cloth tape measure for sewing they’re flexible Take your measurement then add 10 percent What you don’t see in these videos is the wire that gets cut off and thrown out cause it’s too long, cause it’s a lot cheaper than being too short

Off topic but does anyone know what combo of hemi smart coils can be remote mounted with plug wires instead of direct mount to the heads. I have a benz motor with dual plugs which im trying to convert to smart coils but still utilize both plugs. Im trying to move away from stock "dumb" benz coils with holley dumb coil drivers. I found kits for hemi wires but unsure if they will work with the holley hemi smart coils.
@theholleyefiguy6 ай бұрын
A standard smart coil being remote mounted with just the old style Hemi or coyote plug boots should work
