Today's video is mostly just a 'bonus video' disassembly, in which I install some upgraded parts in the Rob Johnson's Cypress 2.0, and opine a little bit about why improvement is so important, especially for small makers.

17:08 the man say’s not to get into watches then flashes his C65 Super Compressor with the black sand dial reminiscent of 1960s dive watches. This watch employs a compressor system, where water pressure increases the case’s water resistance as you descend, thanks to a 300-micron thick compression spring.

Hey Nick. I try to catch every new video, not because of the knife, but because I like to hear your thoughts and philosophy on things.

I check for play with the blade only slightly open (90% closed). Because, in my experience, when the blade is locked open, the side to side wiggle is sometimes hidden by the pressure of the lock bar. Cool knife, btw!

Maybe I missed it, but what did these cost? Everything is sold out on his website and I didn't see any prices

Only Nick Shabazz would say that his ring allows him to wear a watch while tracking relative health statistics lol

What's with the ring Nick? Some Bat gadget?

For the price he should of had a personal knife tech helicopter in to ur house directly for a complimentary repair

hey Nick, long time fan. The autofocus seems a tat too sensitive, so it keeps shifting focus away from the knife when you are working on it

I wish I liked his knives. Bought a Cedar Salt build. Had a real problem with the action. Tried remedying myself by polishing the appropriate surface. Made it a little better, but not acceptable. Sent back for warranty. Came back with two problems. The liner edge and insert had edges sharp enough to cut my thumb. And a sharp point that stuck out where they met. And he put on a new clip with a point so sharp it punctured my thumb taking the knife out of my jeans pocket. I have no idea what he put on the threads, but it was some black gunk. After trying to live with the knife for a few days, I also realized that the diamond milling on the scales was like coarse sandpaper, and eating my hand. I've sent the knife off to WoK for fixing and will be putting it up for sale once it comes back. Maybe the practical elements of the Cypress are better....
