As a kid who grew up in that era, AI was the most influential but more importantly, inspirational player of all time in my opinion. You can mention the cornrows, the fashion, the jewelry, the tattoos, and all that other stuff but what he really did is he made average sized kids feel like “maybe I really could play college ball or even go pro if I just work hard enough.” And I know from experience that just that thought is what kept me at the courts until lights cut out on a lot of nights. Forever a favorite and a hero to me personally.

Wow. I was born in 84, watched Jordan win every ring as a kid, watched A.I. and Grant Hill and Reggie Miller was my favorite actually. Reggie Miller was robbed SO FCKING BAD that he never got a ring. He was the top 3 pt shooter all time when he retired. Reggie was more clutch with game winning shots than MJ. That's FACTS.

As a kid I was never and still not into basketball but I always kept up with Iverson lore. I didn’t want to emulate his style but the way he was unapologetic about presenting himself the way HE wanted made a huge impression on me. To this day I still make my own style and never care to conform to what’s “in” or “accepted”. Pretty cool how you can take away those kind of life lessons from places you weren’t even looking.

I have A.I over anybody, anytime, dude has had a major impact on me, anything with number 3 I love, always wanted the braids, probably why I always wanted tattoos at a younge age also. When I play I'm running around forever tiring out my player and guarding 100% of the time so they dont even wanna pass it to them. Just the culture he brought into the game speaks volumes. When Kobe gotta study sharks to try and take down the answer, you know A.I a crazy beast
