I think the narrative should be shifted from now on we blame Larry Brown for the 2004 Olympics

WHEN LEBRON WAS HITTING SHOTS ON DARVIN HAM I BET HE NEVER THOUGHT HAM WOULD BE HIS COACH AT SOME POINT LOL

Larry brown and the coaching staff was not cohesive and they had a bunch of young players. Marbury and Iverson didn’t fit team USA. Those players don’t fit team USA.

9 guys drop out and Marbury, Jefferson and Marion are starters. Brown has no clue. It’s not coaching if no one is there to be coached (maybe they dropped out because of him) and if you are so ridged that adjusting for the greater good isn’t likely.

Larry Brown was the worst coach in that situation. The best shooter on the team(Carmelo) didn't play. A lot of the original players that commented back out at the last minute, that hurt as well.

Referring to a team of adult men as kids is hella disrespectful.

I rolled my eyes when i found out he banned AI, as well, what a clown, guess he didn't get enough of doing that in the NBA Season

Sounds like Larry was the reason a team loaded with stars didn't get that gold. Or someone had placed a massive bet for USA to lose and Larry just made sure it happened

What bothers me most about Larry Brown is his smugness, that "I'm superior to everyone else" attitude that was dripping off him in that interview. He came across as supremely arrogant and yet he never touched a ball, just pitiful.

Larry callin' them kids. Dude those are grown ass men, and you're not their Daddy. Terrible coaching of the Olympics. He'd rather spend his time trying to teach a lesson on who's in charge, rather figuring out how to win with the talent they had. smh!
