@@NickWeber112I haven’t watched in some time. Hair cut looks good. Sounds like you did an excellent job and were blessed with a bonus. Swift must be a good human. I'm sure, Although it's possible I am wrong however I'd bet money I'm not . She, meaning Taylor Swift herself had zero clue one of the trucks had broken down. The road manager and tour manager (yes 2 separate positions and people) are the ones who the responsibility it is to make sure the show is moved, setup, ran flawlessly, torn down and packed up, loaded on trucks for the next show... Maybe Taylor was informed at some point. However she herself wasn't aware and made decisions like who and where the truck got took, fixed or how much it cost. ..... No intention of sounding like a dick head or negativity towards the original comment.. I just have some knowledge of how stuff works on the road for a band. Definitely not at her level or even close. When my band had no idea a merch van broke down and a rental needed to be acquired until not only after the situation but after the show 20 hours later And only in casual conversation. I'm sure It's no different at her level if she found out at all. But it would have been cool if she was that hands on with crew

I’ve watched a few videos on the logistics of the tour. The Eras Tour had two different sets of truss & stage, call them A-rig and B-rig. They leap frog each other, so while Taylor’s playing on Friday night on A-rig, B-rig is probably sitting in the next city or rolling in. My point is that they have a little bit of cushion time if something were to go wrong. Obviously how much time depends on when the issue happens, but I’d say worse case they’d get replacement pieces for what was damaged on a one off rush load. Just a guess though!

Never will with that mindset. In show / music biz, you drive for the company who contracts with the talent...that simple. Dream on ☁☁...

One of my friends use to be the lead for running the truckers for a few artists over the years. Still the one at Farm Aid maybe 10 years ago now was classic. A guy walks up to him and says and says, Mr Nelson requests your presents in the bus. There were a few other instances, but the best was Mark Ruffalo putting his head down when artists were coming over to him or calling him over to their table at this one event in NYC.

Not sure if you will see this but I got my CDL in August of 2023 so I’m new and I can see myself doing this. My question if you don’t mind: how does a rookie driver like myself get to this point? How much experience I need to start doing concert/entertainment driving? And is there any recommendation companies?
