In the documentary El Ganador, I loved it when Nicky crosses the path of J. Balvin at a club. It’s almost if Nicky was star struck. Yet J. Balvin was what seemed as star struck in his own way, for sure paying respect.

The series aired on Netflix before telemundo, it was only available for Latin America and other countries except United States and Puerto Rico; they had to wait until it was aired on telemundo in order to watch it. That’s why they are just releasing it now. Netflix owns it.

@@hazelmayhem718That's not true. I used to see them all while I was doing bartending at a few private parties, I even did one at Playero's house. Daddy Yankee was already the big boss, always committed and working... he didn't even drink alcohol. Nicky Jam started coming along a bit later. Daddy Yankee would have been famous with or without Nicky because he had the drive. I'm happy for what they've both accomplished. I love Nicky's voice ♥️. They had a very good combination. This series was awesome! I got to see my Levittown on tv 🤩... miss home so much 💔
@hazelmayhem7184 жыл бұрын
Before they became popular they we in a group once Nicky went with drug abuse and antics Yankee was getting popular and basically became an icon. So i maybe wrong in your eyes but between them they vibe off each other and learned from one another. Yankee was more of a rapper than what he is now.
@LilMini744 жыл бұрын
@@hazelmayhem718 Daddy Yankee was already an icon in Puerto Rico and central America... that's why Nicky wanted to sing with him so badly. Back in the day we called this music underground. Nicky is a phenomenal singer... I love his voice! but I like Yankee's rapping style better which is why they complement each other so well. What I'm saying is that even if Nicky Jam was never in the picture, Yankee would have become who he is now. He was working towards that and already heading to stardom. I love them both but they are who they are for their own efforts.
