I like how this didnt turn in just another "Flippy gets PTSD and murders everyone in rampage" episode. Getting creative and manipulating Lumpy into "doing the dirty work for him" is actually original and creative for making a plot for a character, who otherwise makes episodes repetitive.

I have to say, this is probably one of the best fanmade HTF episodes. It doesn't try to copy the original's artstyle and instead creates its own unique world. Flippy and Fliqpy were actually utilized greatly here. Many other fan animations just have Flippy flip out right away and just have it be all about violence, and usually try to make it quick and easy, like one balloon popping instantly turning him on, or him picking up a knife which Flippy was able to do easily in the show without flipping out (Random Acts OF Silence and Without A Hitch). We hear a actual alarm going off and see why Flippy connects it to the war, letting his transformation to Fliqpy make more sense. Fliqpy actually pausing and realizing that killing Lumpy wouldn't be that good in the long run (be it the soldier's code of conduct making him realize Lumpy can't defend himself, Lumpy driving and him realizing killing him would make it so he would get hurt as the car spirals out of control, or just using Lumpy to kill others; the enemy team in his eyes) not only allows for new ways of portraying Fliqpy, but manages to create a situation where he is able to act with others besides instantly killing them. You also managed to utilize Splendid here as well greatly, only giving him a small role as someone trying to stop Fliqpy, but they were far way enough from one another that you could believe that Fliqpy was able to beat Splendid with little effort, instead of relying on a giant anime fighting scene. And Flippy turning back to normal with a butterfly, seeing the damaged car, than the papers, and going "well, if he was passing on all fronts, guess he's good enough" manages to keep him in character. Really, the only thing I could recommend changing was Disco Bear and Giggles dating. I was expecting it to be some sort of dream sequence where he and Giggles are both flattened, only for the dream cloud to burst to reveal him in his room squished by the car. Aside from that, this manages to be something I could see on the original channel.

The movements are so smooth it looks like it was done with a 3D render. The addition of non-canon characters with their own personalities also adds so much more life to the HTF world, rather than the same characters or a bunch of Generic Tree Friends silhouettes. This animation is done so well! I personally liked the weed-smoker character, it adds a lot of realism. The inclusion of Flippy in a jet fighter also makes this more grounded to reality.
