At age 17 I was a pothead, drinker, selfish, jerk, disrespectful , without hope, suicidal....I went into the bathroom and stared myself in the eyes and asked myself "what are you doing with your life?!....you say you believe in God but nothing you do shows that's the case....you said you'd devote your life to god when you were younger but you havnt!" At that moment Jesus came to me…he placed his hand on my shoulder and told me who he was and why the father sent him, he forgave me and said I needed to forgive myself, I broke down in tears of happiness, peace and freedom . I gave away everything I owned that day and devoted my life to Jesus. I’ve been following him ever since! I am now 34 , married with 4 kids and 1 on the way! Still praising and following him, I’ve had my ups and downs but I’ll never forget that day he came to me and saved me. I love you Jesus and am so grateful you went out of your way for me a selfish sinner.

The occasional attack from the devil haunts me, the thoughts of what it would be like for one more shot. That one more shot isn't worth seeking out! Jesus leaves the 99 behind to go find the one, and that was me when I had been stripped of everything that I thought was important!

POWERFUL, beautiful song! Brought me to tears. I am a 62 year old woman; my son is in prison now for using drugs; no violent crime, but he did steal money, forged checks, etc.; was going on for more than 10 years; I prayed everyday and talked to him about finding God so that he could escape the grips the Devil had on him. He was clean for a year, had a job and an apartment and then relapsed. I talk to him all the time and I can tell he has finally found God; he will be released in 9 months; he is finally now getting rehab in prison and attending Bible studies! We can do all things through Christ who strengthens us! I would recommend going to a pentecostal church, creating that close relationship with Jesus, and asking for strength and deliverance EVERY time you feel weak. These helped me shake my addiction. I will pray for you sister

I commented on this video a few weeks back. I didn’t elaborate on anything when I commented though. I am a recovering drug addict. My number one drug of choice was methamphetamine. I used that drug on and off for 10 years and it was about the ninth year my eyes became opened up to the devils realm. When I heard the words of this song, it brought me back to those dark dark days where the devil almost took me down. Man, I can’t even tell you how much I appreciate the words to the song because when I was going through everything, I thought I was the only one that had been going through this. Wow! Thank you for your testimony such a powerful message. I was diagnosed with schizophrenia, agoraphobia, manic depressive, and severe panic attacks. I heard voices and even saw an evil spirit. When I gave my life to Christ I felt an evil spirit lift off of me. I have been praying and fasting a lot. On two different fast at the end of them I felt other spirits that were clinging to me leave. Keep on spreading the message again so powerful. We are in a war but we can overcome with the BLOOD OF JESUS CHRIST.

Oh wow brother. I just found this and I just listened to it 4 times Praise God. I completely relate to every word besides the addiction to opiates although is was alcohol and almost every other drug and I never robbed a dope boy but I was with those who would. Other than those minor differences I hits dead in the center of my heart. I put hands on my woman, being drunk and paranoid but PRAISE GOD when I got outta prison she gave me another chance. We're just recently within the last 4 weeks getting our relationship with God by His Son Jesus Christ. I'm standing up brother and going back ain't an option. I just want you to know, hearing this song made it easier for me to forgive my father. It granted me with the opportunity to see things from his perspective. By the end of this song I realized ANYONE can be saved and that I need to understand who the real enemy is.
