You should add reverb side chaining so the lead can duck and not clash with the rest of the reverb like the peak controller on fl studio we really need reverb side-chain I know david guetta talk about this too thank you I love this plug in.

@@XpiredUK ​​VolumeShaper is an advanced multiband tool for more than just sidechaining, with a drawable LFO and compressor on all 3 bands. Kickstart 2 is a fast and focused plugin for sidechain ducking, but with new features (audio triggering and kick/bass waveform overlay) that are not (yet) in VolumeShaper.

If it is possible to add this in an update eventually: please add an option to vertical flip the presets/ducking-shapes. That would be the last nail in the coffin for me to make this plugin perfect. Other than that: love the new version, awesome stuff!

Finally solves the issue using this with ableton! Before if you put effects before the plug in it would cause delay on the timing of the ducking due to latency but with the audio option on version 2 via sidechain input this is solved and it only cost me £4.50 to upgrade, Bargain

Wow...my favorite "fake sidechain" plugin is now a true sidechaining plugin. Amazing work...it does the job of 3 or 4 separate plugins and greatly expands the flexibility over the original version. Plus the low upgrade price made it an instant buy, Thanks!

This is Great The Audio Function working like sidechain Compression but in a really easy way , my suggest is to make it able to show longer Pattern Like 8 bar or 4 bar and making custom Volume automation because that's sometimes useful too .

This is great! I've been using Kickstart 1 for years, I love the simplicity. When I need quick ducking effect this is my go-to. Now the new features (especially ability to change length of the ducking!) makes it more usable, while still not being overly complicated. Good job!

Unbelievable good plugin! Sounds great every time I open it and is really easy and intuitive to use. Looking forward to try version 2, it looks amazing! Kickstart 1 primarily only helped with 4 on the floor ducking, but finally this Audio mode now makes it genre agnostic and much more usable across the board. Thanks for these updates. Those of us that do more hip hop, trap or future bass really appreciate sidechain ducking based upon input rather than timing, because the rhythms are always changing and often off kilter.

Finding 2nd version "softer" and "leaking" sound even at 100% mix. Basically you need x2 instances of v2 to cut off sound to the same degree as v1. In no way a bad thing. Just that both versions have usefulness in its own way.

Great, so now we need the "audio sidechain trigger" feature in the VolumeShaper plugin where you can actually change the shape of the ducking. I get the concept of this one, but it's still very rigid. Major upgrades though...

We're working on audio triggering for VolumeShaper right now. Kickstart is streamlined for Kick transient detection (although it works just fine on almost all percussion that has obvious transients, snares, hard synth sounds etc), while ShaperBox is made for a wider range of control. But yeah, it's going to come!
