These are the most magnificent animals I can imagine, and the relationship between horse and rider is not only honorable, it is quite noble. And people say horses are happier left in the wild. Everyone is happier with a job--a productive life, and good, strong relationships. A cowboy trainer I hired could not work with my horse and sent him home. He said he reared up at him. Well, he's part Andalusian; it's in his blood to rear up!

What beautiful and magnificent animals. They are part of my top 3 favorite breeds along with Friesians and Quarter Horses (Due to their speed and power). My uncle has a Chocolate Palomino Quarter Horse named Trigger, who is HUGE for a Quarter Horse at almost 17 hands. He is absolutely stunning and does western shows. He can dance and Slide stop (even though my uncle doesn't do that to him any more since it is hard on his legs.

@@adamabraham2076 The Barb is a different breed than the Andalusian/Pura Raza Epanola/PRE. The Iberian peninsula had its own horses in ancient times, thousands of years before the Andalusian and Lusitano (a Portuguese breed very closely related and similar to the PRE) were developed. Modern genetic studies show that the Barb of North Africa and the Iberian horse/Andalusian interbred and influenced each other's bloodlines, but they came out of separate lineages. The breeds are related, they have some similarities, but they are different breeds.

Gentled. Horses will not work well within dressage or in hand if they are broken rather than gentled. The first step in training for what these horses are doing is to work responsively to the rider or handler, but relaxed, trusting. Breaking doesn't achieve the same results.

Pretty horses but id wish people would use bits that are more comfortable for the horses, you can see the foaming mouth and there mouths open slightly,it means the bit hurts. Like eating needles.
@freddyaltina27375 жыл бұрын
selena caraballo A foaming mouth is actually a good sign, it means acceptance of the bit. It's a good thing. And some horses open their mouth slightly to relieve pressure, some do it habitually, some do it to escape discomfort if the rider has harsh hands and is too harsh on the mouth. Some gape their mouths for no reason at all. Can be a sign of discomfort, but not always! So I think it's important not to cast judgement too easily. But the foam is definitely a good sign! :)
