nico + levi || why i haven't told them {16x13&16x14}

Hello there!
So u might have noticed that I didn't post a video last week. And that's because I just moved! It was a lot of stress so there was no time for editing.
And when I managed to watch the episode it went a route that I didn't see coming and yeah... I just waited for this week's.
Also, wow. The writing in the past two episodes was like...really bad.
I'm so confused. First Levi's "I want more than just sex" line that came out of nowhere and then Nico not being out to his parents??
It's like they hired sb to create drama, not knowing their established storyline.
It's just weird and confusing and i still don't really know how to react to it haha.
So let's just hope they will figure it out, because I'm wayy too deep into them as a couple. They're the first couple after Tiva from NCIS that I really deeply root for.

Here is what I think is going on with Nico. He probably never intended for things to go this far with Levi when he started flirting. But along the way he started catching feelings. Yes, he did claim that he didn’t want to deal with the shame spiral and it’s drama but I think that really came from a place of self loathing. Then after Levi got the courage to come out and cut ties with his mom (who had some toxic tendencies), he probably only let Levi stay with him because he feels partially responsible. I hope Levi doesn’t settle for being Nicos “dirty little secret” when it comes to his family. I will never shame a person for staying in the closet until they are ready to come out, but what Nico is doing is at the expense of Levi’s feelings and if Nico has no intention to take their relationship further than just quickies and light dating in the future, he needs to let Levi know this. I acknowledge that Nico is in a tough spot, but if Levi thought he was worth the pain and drama of coming out, Nico needs to figure out whether or not Levi is worth it too.

season 16 was the downfall of the show, not that the show got worse, but the plots went bad and a lot of stuff happened.

I think that all that’s happened in these two episodes is a way to explore both characters and their relationship. I mean, Nico didn’t really have a background story in s15, he was just “Levi’s love interest”, but now it’s time to know him better, at his best and worst. I don’t think Nico is a bad person, he’s just repressed and scared to talk to his parents (but Levi will help him do it). We’ve always seen Nico as the perfect guy, the muost confident, which is not his entire identity: this situation is showing how he’s fragile and insecure inside. Yes, he should’ve told it to Levi at least, but maybe he was too afraid of losing him or ruining his perfect image. We have to wait to judge him and see what Grey’s going to do with him.

What made me pissed off of the most was when they kissed in the elevator, Nico said he already came out and can’t help someone who hasn’t come out yet. But something was telling me that he didn’t tell his parents, I guess I foreshadow this in a way. Back to my original point. Pretty much after that, Levi told his family that he was gay and now we are just hearing that Nico hasn’t come out to his family. That pissed me off so much to the point were I yelled at the tv screen. Tell me if I am if I am only the one who reacted that way.

Yeah the same ! but the fact that he came out it must have been to his friends and not his parents though and they do not live in the same city ! also we levi and him should have had the conversation of like do the parents know or not anyways I was so confused and upset when he said he didn't came out of the closet he shouldn't have said it to schmit like presurring him to come out

The writing seemed good in the sense that that referenced why we all thought Nico would be out, and Levi was just so shocked. They are consistent in that way at least. I'm kinda loving this drama at the moment but idk lol. I think i don't like Nico's characterization as much as i did and i hope they fix that but I love poor Levi more than i love this ship so I'm kinda here for all of it

I would have moved out from his apartment before he came back from that dinner. A bit of cold shower is what Nico needs in order to wake up .. Honestly, I don’t see Nico as head over heels in love type . He was a new experience for Levi , his first and all that but Levi needs to move on towards somebody who would love and admire him above everything and everybody else..

When it comes to Nico, I think he sees it is as there is out and there is out. I mean I'm out at work to most people, to my friends, and to one of my sisters. Though my parents, my other sister, and the rest off my family don't know. I don't lead with Hi, I'm Bi. So perhaps Nico thinks he is out in a way, even though he's hasn't told his parents. If he has an unhealthy relationship with them like Levi does with his mom. I could see why he's avoiding being so personal with them. Grey's has never been good on the continuity of characters and stories. Though perhaps the invite to Christmas dinner, Nico could say Levi was a friend that didn't have anywhere to go/plans since he's Jewish and so Nico brought him along. Or perhaps Christmas with his family was a horrible thought, so Nico wanted Levi there to be something happy for him to focus on while dealing with his family. I do think Nico cares deeply for Levi, but I don't think Nico is in the same head space that Levi is in their relationship. And it's going to become a problem for them. But then again this is Grey's so they are due some mega drama.
