They created this series as a short, not weekly episodes. People tend to forget that a story has to be written before a series can happen and a petition is not going to suddenly spawn a written storyline. The writers knew what they were doing and expecting most people's attention span to go anywhere beyond 5 minutes was not in the cards.

Nico and Robbie flinching at the movie, Illyana and Blade looking at them smiling at the scrubs, and Wanda just smiling at whatever carnage is happening on the screen... seems about right XD. I miss The Runaways so much, it wasn't always the best but it was one of these stories that captured the feeling of a new adventure and weird teen family really well. And the Avenger Arena storyline that Nico was part of was REALLY good.

Every team can benefit from someone like this. Reminds me of one of my jobs we had that person who didn’t specialize in something but nice to have around. She understimates herself too, watch her come in on clutch for the team when she is needed.

I love how Blade is the serious one, focusing only on fighting and fight training. Kind of a hint of how tough Whistler was on him, growing up, lol.

My fav short thus far. Showing powerful characters “everyday-people” side now and then clicks with me. Makes them more real. Great when done right, not too often or forced to get you to sympathize. Just showing they have actual lives outside the battles.

I haven't played this game yet, of course - but the cool parts of character interplay outside of the combat is a big sell for me. Looking forward to both. I really hope it all turns out well, and this can be a cue for future content like this, or expansions. Having the characters do more content even outside of combat/Abbey would be really cool.
