I’m from the USA, and I love foreign languages. I took Chinese Mandarin in high school and that was the only good thing about going to high school, the teacher was so amazingly nice! Traditional Chinese food looks amazingly delicious such as Peking duck and dumplings. Westernized Chinese food isn’t good at all. China has amazing long rich dynasty history, amazing-looking traditional dishes, China has its own astrology system and a very meaningful language. I also began immersing myself in South Korean pop culture and language. South Korea has the prettiest girls in all of Asia. My favorite celebrities from South Korea are PSY, black pink and red velvet. South Korea has an interesting language that is easy to read. Both Chinese and Korean languages have meaningful meanings.

things we miss most about china: the food and the safety. I don't have to explain food, but safety... there's just an indescribable feeling of peace where you aren't constantly on guard for your personal safety when out and about.
@Nicofilms3 жыл бұрын
Totally agree about the safety it’s such s as relief not having to think about your stuff.

omg that's the main reason why i want to move to China...im born raised in America and when i visited China because American media doesn't really show China in the brightest light, so i wanted to visit it for myself. The peacefulness in that country is as you described it, indescribable.

Awesome video Nico. There is so much value you put here into an 11 minute video! I think your points particularly on working culture and job opportunities are really relevant. These aspects are really difficult to know / find credible information online, before potentially being in China. Keep up the great videos!

“Wearing green means unfaithful wife”, well, that refers to green hat or cap specifically. Green chothes are fine. Besides, give clock as a gift is not polite, but give watch is safe.
@willengel24583 жыл бұрын
there really is no historical reference why people used that term.
@joe_shh3 жыл бұрын
@@willengel2458 “Green hat” starts from Yuan Dynasty (1271-1368). Stipulated by Yuan Dynasty Statues (元典章). Parents and spouse of sexual workers shall wear cyan color headscarf. Afterwards the meaning was extended to unfaithful wife, and green (similar to cyan) hat (similar to headscarf).

I remember once I was wearing a green shirt in a class (I thought it was fine, because it's not a hat), and the kids made so much fun of me that it was difficult to finish the class😂Long story short, I've never worn that shirt again.

That depends on if your diploma is the equivalent to a bachelors degree or not? It wouldn't be enough from the UK to work as an English teacher but it might be different from another country.
