Sticking to her guns has propelled 37-year-old Nicola Coughlan into the spotlight. After a breakout role in Channel 4 comedy ‘Derry Girls’ in 2018, her career has gone from strength to strength, and she’s now set to take on the leading lady role in the third season of 'Bridgerton', as her character, Penelope Featherington, becomes this series’ romantic lead.

I realize she's in glam for this shoot, but it is so soft and luminous and not harshly contoured and "snatched" or "lifted" the way big girls have learned to do. I'm LIVING for it and her natural face shape - SO refreshing to see. Our necks are so elegant and expressive, this representation shows there's value in not to painting them into oblivion

Unlike most women I have zero interest in fashion, yet every time I see Nicola I TRULY appreciate her style and think she's a fashion icon! She wears stuff I'd never wear, but her choices always seem so bold and stunning, that you know the person wearing it needs to feel confident and amazing in order to pull it off! And she ALWAYS pulls it off, because as she says, she feels good in it!

She’s got a magnificent aura, I feel really inspired by this interview. I too knew around 4 that I wanted to act. And now at 24 I’m working at Panera struggling but in film school getting my degree. I struggle with confidence but not in a way where I lack it but in a way am afraid of it! Her advice is spot on. I can relate to her in alot ways. I do wonder how she’s taking all of her success in. Like she’s done some pretty magical things and still is. I’m curious to know what it feels like for her to feel all of that. I mean it’s got to be amazing and overwhelming.

I want to know everything that is going on in her brain, her mind and her heart. She always ALWAYS comes up with beautiful things, useful, and reflective point of views and thoughts.
