I’m also in love with Nicola, and I’m a 62 yr old mom of 3 grown children. It just goes to show what a great actor she is! Yes, I agree that some of what we see in the press tour is “acted”. But they do have genuine feelings for each other. They are suppressing the heat with each other IRL so they can maintain their chemistry for the show. In my 20’s I was a musical theatre actor, and I was the lead. Falling for your co-actor is a real thing. Just about every show, I fell for my co-actor. We did West Side Story, and I was Maria. My Tony, I miss to this day since he has passed, was my “Luke” watching the relationship between Nicola and Luke, has brought up all those old feelings for him again. It’s actually painful. So I understand why they want to keep each other in that bubble of new love so to speak. Also, Luke gets his “grounding” from Nic. He reaches for her when he feels anxious, or doesn’t know what to do. That is obvious watching the whole press tour. What’s funny is his genuine lustiness when he looks at Nic in some of her revealing dresses. Oh, yea, he catches glimpses, and he thinks we can’t see! Summer lovin of ‘24, I’m here for it!

Think you’re right but I have….thankfully…..finally stepped off the Polin delulu train. Filming for S3 started almost 2 years ago now. A lot has happened since then. Luke is no longer the sweet, chubby faced actor from S1&2 and unfortunately for him he’s morphed into a not so pleasant individual. Nics career on the other hand, has taken off. She’s heading for huge stardom and leaving Mr Mediocre in her dust. If there was an opportunity for a real relationship back in 2022/23 that ship has long since sailed.

I feel Luke Newton is on his own 17 city tour right now, living the Colin life style now. A young guy who's getting so much attention being the new "sturdy" actor. That doesn't change one little bit the relationship he and Nic have. There is obviously a real love there a relationship of some kind. Come on they have their own song "True Colors" Luke recorded "Yellow" some time ago...the director/producers made it their wedding song. In the song he recorded "Rewrite the stars" there's a line that says "No one can tell us what we get to be" not an exact quote. Their chemistry if off the hook. They charge each other's soul .... I think it’s changed slightly so the original story was there was supposed to shout stop and that’s it. Scene ended but there might of been so in it that and they didn’t test it potentially so the actors could hear that so when they were in the scene, they couldn’t hear the stop And continued on thinking okay? Maybe they wanted a bit more because they did say there was a lot of freedom and certain scenes and and then when Nicola stopped the scene as it were the director came out and said why didn’t you hear me shouting? Stop kind of thing so I think because they’ve said it’s so much you know some of it might I’ve got lost with the retelling, but that’s kind of the thing I heard throughout, although the best one was the UK interview with cat Deeley and Ben Shepherd and they did a really good one but I think as well they must get tired of being asked the same question again and again I’ve actually got some really cool different questions if I ever get the chance to meet them or interview them which is very unlikely

After watching everything about them I will say that I think she is more into him than him into her, I think he finds her attractive and genuinely loves her as a best friend but is not really deeply in love with her, not sure why , but the way she speaks about him....I think if he would give her the carriage scene speech she would go for it, but somehow he thinks they would have a stronger relationship as friends than a proper couple.

Agree with many, too little Polin time on S3. Maybe you would also enjoy Sammy Bates videos, she is a great fan and dissects the scenes in very detail. I watched it every day for a month. 😂 Personally, in my advanced age, I don't think he loves this chick. Body language in their pics says no. Maybe a convenience thing. Maybe an image thing. But in love, he is not. His body language with Nicola was so vastly different (not just for this season). He looks at Nic the exact same way he looked at his ex of four years who he def loved. I'm firmly chained to this ship. 😂

Benedict had more sexy screen time than Colin & Pen. Colin and Benedict both had 3 some scenes. Anthony and Kate had a few spicy moments. Pen’s sisters …meh. And the Kilmartin story was weird, almost baseless, sexless, and tucked into the Polin season. WHY???? There are so many plot holes in Bridgerton that it has become disappointing.
