There's so much to say about them, and not just because of the intimate parts. I felt nervous just watching it. Like, damn, should I be here? They are both such intimate, personal, and organic moments. They feel real, which is great.

I still cannot watch the mirror scene without reacting basically just as you did here. It’s wonderful and beautiful, but it’s also A LOT and I get so overwhelmed by it (in good ways, but it’s also the most intimate sex scene I can remember seeing in a very, VERY long time).

NGL I was sooooo nervous about the mirror scene because the initial loudest responses were not happy...and while I thought it would be different (though not sure how haha), I was SPEECHLESS! I could NOT BREATHE! Once my brain rebooted, that scene became like crack lol! And after repeated watches, I was able to really analyze how it really reflected their personalities & dynamic as a couple. Colin was careful, asking for consent, & wanting to do everything. But Pen has her independence, takes initiative, & wants to actively participate. There ARE some things I would've tweaked but Nic & Luke are wonderful actors with PALPABLE chemistry!

Polin and Kanthony have me in a chokehold this episode and Mannnn making us feel Penelope’s Anxiety in those last 10 minutes or so hasn’t been talked about enough for me! My hands were sweating, I was screaming and pausing to calm down 😂 this episode was something special , dare I say one of the top 3 best episode of Bridgerton so far 😌

NGL I had to rewatch the mirror scene MULTIPLE times to convince myself it wasn’t REAL. The way she had that moment of intense surprise and then the way he asked if she was alright and how she responded was just so fucking GENUINE. I know it hits everyone different but that part was just so intimate and caring and so real. Also, I’m a member of the “are you sure” club too. So many beats of their relationship mirror my own. Love at first sight (though I prefer to say know cuz I didn’t love but I knew he was the one the moment I met him. I recognized him and my exact thought was oh there you are), friends first, not believing he loved me that way. Pretty much all of it. Plus I just get so much joy watching your reactions. This video was sooooo much fun. ❤

The mirror is easily my favorite sex scene in the show (aside from QC). I feel like the editing tends to be super weird for all of them, but this one flowed the most naturally to me. Also, Luke’s orgasm face was PEAK 😩

Polin has very very intimate make out/ love scenes…. It speaks to how deep their love goes. The carriage scene and mirror scene are two different scene but both are very very intimate. The carriage scene is spicier while the mirror scene is more intimate. Also, luke and Nic said they weren’t thinking about making the mirror scene “look good” but rather they wanted it to be true to the characters… they said they wanted to make sure it had a touch of awkwardness and quirkiness , then spicy/sexy and I think they hit what they were aiming. It’s a very beautiful scene and it’s very detailed and feels very real which speaks to why people covered their eyes when they watched it the first time hahhaa❤❤❤ it’s also awkward because we’ve known these two pookies since s1…i loved the scene (tho im wondering if there was a specific reason the writers made first time On a settee instead of a bed since they were in their house) There’s also something about the mirror scene that you love it more and more when you watch it even if you didn’t love it too much on the first watch. A lot of people have said this! I think it’s also the same as me. I liked it more as everytime I watched it Their faces when they were climaxing… I DIED! That’s all I can say. That felt real lmao❤❤❤ that was one of the most beautiful part of the whole scene, excluding the part they stand infront of a mirror cus that was just perfect perfect perfect I love polin and I love that this tv show shows us the different tropes of love and how beautiful it is when your SO is someone you also consider a Friend (it dosent always work out but the times that it does, it’s just the most beautiful thing) This season is my best. S2 is my second favourite and then followed by QC! Love love this show. Love polin so much ❤

I watched episode 5 during the pre-release, but I was on a bus in Alaska and I lost the wifi signal just as Colin and Pen stood in front of the mirror. I was like nooooooo! I didn't get it back until part way through the engagement party. I was so distraught. We were flying home early the next morning so I downloaded all the episodes to my phone so I could watch them on the plane. Then I of course had to watch them again once I got home to see them on a bigger screen..ha, ha....I love your reactions. You are all of us! And you look fabulous in your corset. Thank you for all of your wonderful content. I feel like I am watching the episodes with a good friend who is as Bridgerton obsessed as me and loves to analyze it all..

The carriage scene and the mirror scene are very different in terms of emotions and pacing but I don't prefer one over the other, I love them equally. They don't stir the same emotions in me. But be it the carriage scene or the mirror scene, each time I took an emotional punch in my guts (in a very good way I mean!) Because it all felt so real, so organic. It's a lot to take as a viewer because you really feel like you're watching a real couple and that the scene is actually unfolding before your eyes and that's just... wow 😳 Amd yeah an award for Nicola's moans🔥 I definitely agree with you when you said it Sammy! Kanthony's scene in 2.07 and the epilogue scene of season 2 (let's not forget that moment in bed in epilogue of season 2 please) had me like that too. That's when you know you are witnessing damn fine acting (and you can't thank enough the gods of chemistry too). Episode 5 is my favourite I think, the pacing and the scenes (sweet happiness in the beginning to the stressful scenes with Eloise and Pen, Colin standing up for Pen against Portia, then the intimate scenes : Polin and that transition to Kanthony 🥹 Kate and Eloise together, loved it! Polin cuddling after 🥹🥹🥹 etc etc) to that crescendo in the end: the writing of that scene was perfect! Add the top notch acting and the music with it, that was stressful but in such a thrilling way! A viewer's dream that episode!

I stayed up for the Tudum release. It had a start time of like 4am or something in AUST so i thought easier to just stay up and watch it. well as everyone knows it didnt start for quite a while it was like 6am in the end so it was finished by 7am I ended up just powering through my work day and started the rest of P2 @ the 5pm release so in the end i had been up for 38 hrs straight, it was a wild time. I struggled to take it all in, it was an absolute whirlwind which in hindsight left me depressed and reeling. terrible idea. My subsequent billion watches have been much better. E5 was Chaos in the best possible way! The scene with the brothers making a toast is one of my favs. This ep was a lot of fun.😍

I feel my watching experience is a somewhat similar to yours, in terms of being in a wild, messy place/state of mind when watching part 2. I didn't watch the Tudum release but the month of having to wait before the release of part 2 left me sleep deprived to the point it had become ridiculous. The peak of it was the final week before the release, I was so anxious I couldn't sleep properly. It was not a pleasant period of time lol. I was so nervous that during the first night after the release I couldn't end ep6 because I knew that emotionally it was about to get very, very difficult for the characters (and for me as well). Second day after the release, I replayed ep5 three times and again couldn't finish ep6... and 3rd day of the release I then binged the 4 eps in one go. I had a hard time to process episode 7 and 8 during my first watch. Thankfully, like you, the many rewatches I've done after that have been so much better! I understood in hindsight that I was just not in a good place mentally during my first watch to fully appreciate what I was watching. Ep5 is definitely my favourite episode of Bridgerton, taking all 3 seasons into consideration. That scene with the brothers in ep5 is among my favourites too! I want another scene with the brothers in Benedict's season in which Anthony and Colin are teasing Benedict about being single and saying how their respective wives are so wonderful and how they are in love etc I'd love it!

In my Opinion they do have the best Bridgerton intimacy scenes so far! Carrie scene still got me in chokehold ngl. Mirror scene was great too, but after not getting one more long intimate scene in harmony after LW drama was over in the end, I was longing for a little more passion in the mirror scenes when I rewatched. I don't have words to describe how damn much I loved your Carriage analysis and I'm dying for a similar video of the Mirror scene. But of course only if you have the time! Honestly the mirror scene was soooo awkward it made me feel like I should not have been watching it at all. Kate and Anthony and Simon and Daphne had there scenes done tastefully. Their intimate scene feels very icky to me, because it happened before Colin knew that Penelope was Lady Whistledown. In my opinion, it should have happened after Colin knew about it. I know it adds more drama to the show when having them be intimate before Colin knows that Penelope is Whistledown, but I wish they had done it more like in the book
