I’m currently teaching voice lessons and I have a student wanting to learn how to sing different genres, I didn’t know much about jazz myself but I’m learning now so this was really informative, Thankyou!!

Can you focus on a particular song and how it is performed, each instrument in the song when they come in, is any instrument in the song the melody or is just the vocalist the melody ? Is a good accompaniment give rhythm and not melody? How do you keep the fluidity? How do you keep your main instrument .. say jazz guitar fluid with you ? I notice you are playing rythym .. love your scat ! you are awesome 👏

Hi. Is it possible to infuse a jazzy feel in a song originally not jazz
@tusiamilusia402 жыл бұрын
I think so! You should check out Postmodern Jukebox, they make jazz cover versions of popular songs

Jazz is playing the wrong chords at the wrong time and trying to sing over it. And when you can't, you start making words up. That's called scat. You're welcome :)

Nicola Milan Tutorials oh, I understand music, I just don't understand how anyone could like jazz!

Music Islife then you need you change you KZbin name because if your can’t recognize that Jazz is life then you can’t possibly recognize anything. You may not understand jazz, just as you may not understand quantum physics, but that doesn’t make it any less special. On the contrary. At first I thought you were a jazz lover poking some good fun at it. And I thought it delightful. Then I realized you actually can’t connect to this art form so your form of connecting is to criticize it. And that’s pretty sad for everyone involved.

Jazz is to sing the root of your love, pain and happiness and actually understand what it caused and how we might as well deal or not! Jazz, it's when your outta of words but yet feeling and wanna let people know you know! Jazz is in every song you've heard. If you don't, at least, respect Jazz u don't respect any of the genres and songs u have ever listened in your life!

Alpha Andromeda its people like you, with your high brow attitude that are the reason people like me, hate jazz!
