This past Thursday I had to say goodbye to my sweet Lucky. He was a 17 year old Yorkie. He left this earth sleeping peacefully in my arms (with a bit of help from the vet). One of the hardest moments in my life. Give sweet Sofie a squeeze from a sad doggie mom in Oklahoma. May you have at least 17 wonderful years together. Love the pictures so very classy. Hugs

I am so glad to hear Sophie is ok. I was holding my breath the entire video! Dogs are such a blessing to our lives. They are definitely creatures of habit. My little dog had some skin issues on the tips of her ears. Something that made the edges of her velvety ears a tiny bit thicker than normal. It all turned out to be allergies too. We were given some cream to use on her ears and she got a steroid shot as well. Our vet said she will probably drink a bit more water for a couple of weeks because of the shot, and she has. But she’s fine. Allergies can do strange things to our four legged friends. Again, I am so happy Sophie is happy and healthy!

Hello from Connecticut. What a nice thing to have in London, the Chelsea Flower Show. Wish you had more time to cover the exhibits etc. Maybe next year? It almost provided me with incentive to refurbish my own garden areas.....almost! I never noticed the two side lights before; I have to agree not sure what that style is. I think it outstanding that your subscribers are getting involved with you. I agree in that I think your rug might need an anchor color, either within or as a border. If a vivid green is too bold, maybe consider a darker grey. Good news about Sophie! Personally, I think pets’ lifespans should better align with ours but God hasn’t replied. 😊

Thanks for the update on Sophie. You are such a good attentive dog companion. After the age of 10 it is best that dogs stay home and not travel. The air quality in London might just be too difficult on her lungs and it might make your travels a bit easier. I have two dogs and two cats and I don’t travel with any of them. Their place is in my home.

I’m so pleased you bought the maps, you’ll never regret a purchase like this and they’ll follow you where ever you go. I live in the Cotswolds near Oxford and bought some large old maps of Oxford, I love looking at them, they are also classic and timeless. I have a 11 year old terrier and she’s become very anxious the older she gets, she constantly needs me for reassurance and looks to me for my reactions. Puppies are wonderful but when they reach this age this is when the love, bond and trust between dog and owner is at its strongest, Sophie is lucky to have you. All the best x

Hello Nicholas! I would like to share a tip for getting moss to grow on your outside planters/ wall. All you need is buttermilk which you brush onto whatever surface terracotta is good and then you take miss from the florist or some you come across on a walk, then you crumble it to help release its spores. Keep the surface lightly moist and soon the new miss will be growing! This tip comes from Martha Stewart, if you have success, it would be something to share with your viewers. As our dogs age, (my Standard poodle is 14!) their larynx some times doesn’t function as well & they wheeze & chuff & hack a bit. Excitement makes it worse. So happy to hear that Sophie is doing better !!! We had a Shih Tzu too, her name was "Pickles", she lived to 15 years old. We got her when she was 8 weeks old and she weighed only 3 lbs !! She had a cough too at one time or the other and the Vet prescribed the same thing. She lived a long and healthy life !! Sophie is so adorable, I love it when she is in your videos !!! It’s fun to see your excursions. Loved the glimpse of the flower show. I absolutely love British gardens .. some so formal and others looks so whimsical! I’m so you gave an update on your Sophie. So happy she is OK! Haircut for the summer is good. Hopefully she will not get stressed. Our fur babies are so much a part of our families. I am so very happy that Sophie is doing okay and healthy. I too pray you will have her around for many years. My little Bella, multipoo was just over 14 yrs old when she passed. It was so hard but in time, I now have a new pup, Lilly Rose who is now just over 5 months old. Loved what you were able to show in your vlog today. Love the vlog style videos. We get to see so many interesting places. I'm glad Sophie is doing fine and back home where she can relax and recoup. We always worry about our pets. Can't wait to see those beautiful prints hanging up. I'm a big fan of black and white prints.

Good evening Nicolas! I’m so glad your Sophie is ok. You’re a good doggie Daddy to make her a priority! I had two doggies, one of whose name was Sophie, too! Mine were never able to be left with anyone either as it was too stressful for them. It is worse on them as they get older. I think you are being wise to consider her.
