It was so nice being able to watch you once again, Nicola! We just suffered through three EF-2 tornadoes coming through our community in Florida last Friday, the 10th. Following that 7am wake-up call, we then spent five days without power or water, and seven days without cable and internet. To say the least, being able to enjoy you once again mudlarking has made me so appreciative of the little things in life! Thanks for a lovely video, Nicola!

Thanks from across the pond for the wonderful video! I like Ard; his accent reminds me so strongly of Nederlandr friends I had when I lived in Germany, and of the beautiful places I saw there. A kind people, they are, and excellent friends to have. Me, I've been on vacation for over a week (I have one day left!) and it's been a little rough-- food poisoning right at the start of it, a reservation that I had to cancel due to that, just the kind of mishap that befalls vacationers. But I'm well now and got to see a magnificent museum with the world's best assemblage of Mimbres pottery at the Western New Mexico University, and to skinnydip in some truly amazing hot springs, so it was good. But your video made it even better! Favorite find... hmm; I really liked that lovely Art Deco button you found at 23:17. The design was very William Morris. Have a good day yourself, and many finds to you.

About 20 years ago I lived in Dallas, Texas and every morning I was visited by a squirrel with a withered right leg. My kitchen had French doors with decorative iron bars. He would perform gymnastics on the bars to get my attention. He only liked to eat Texas pecans, preferably the giant ones. If I ran out and presented him with something else like peanuts, he would turn his back, climb the fence and run away. The other neighborhood squirrels would then descend and eat the nuts. He was always back the next morning as he had me trained to buy pecans on my way home. Your videos are a happy addition to my Sundays.

French is such a lilting language! I took French in high school, many many years ago. Greetings Nicola. Seeing the little Darelmans tag it reminded me of the time I spent in the Netherlands. I came across a Dutch Wafel maker called Daelmans who has operated since 1904, they are still a going concern. It could well be a tag that was on their tins secured by a ribbon. Thanks for your concern for those who are unwell.
