This is our first review for a Apart Hotel that we do in Las Terrenas, Samaná. Another turistic area located in the northeast for the Dominican Republic, is not as popular as Punta Cana but it is highly recommended if you want to do something different.

Thank you so much for this review of Nicole. Your review is very positive. Recently, I heard negative things about many loud parties and children screaming all day long. It appears quiet in your footage. I enjoyed the vlog, the detail in your descriptions is quite good. Keep up the great work!

Trust me this place is in the middle of a racetrack. Not literally.. it’s in the heart of a town where everybody drives noisy motorcycles and they pass about 2-3 dozen per minute. If you keep the windows and the door‘s closed and the air-conditioner on and you’re always watching TV you probably won’t hear anything. If you’re a little deaf or if you like a little bit of background noise then maybe this is for you if you like that city kind of sound. But peace and quiet is something that’s not here all the time. Maybe it’s relatively quiet at night but it just takes one motorcycle to come by and ruin it. If you’re looking for peace and quiet and tranquility this is not nice for you. If you are urban sort of person that you like a bit a city noise louder than NYC and like activity or maybe you’re afraid of the silence and the sound of your own thoughts then maybe this is for you. Hear none of those thoughts from the past will be able to come up

@@davecue2We don't plan to be watching much tv. We want to be in the center of things until we get our bearings. I like the restaurants and shops in this immediate area, the street noise seems to be everywhere in LT.

@@crisfigueira300 yes the noise is almost everywhere, but if you been here for years one tends to know where there is the most, where there is less and where there is none. On a scale from 1-10 of noise in LT I give this Main Street that passes this place an 8-9. There are places less than half a mile away on the beach let’s say where the street is just as noisy BUT most of the rooms are way in the back away from the noise. Lowering the noise factor to about a 2. Nicole is in a noise sandwich from both sides. I get it though. There are all kinds of people in this world and some like this, some don’t mind and some love it. If that’s your thing then the builders did thier homework well. As there will always be people who like this. I guess my warning is for those who think peaceful quiet tropical vacation is what they want and may be deceived or just don’t realize what they are getting into. Have fun, comment here later and let us know how it was and if there were any loud parties. The parties can happen anywhere though. And yes there are places in and around LT where you can hear a pin drop.

Cris, we just returned from Nicole it was excellent. And no, it is not noisy inside the development. Clean, safe, superlative staff, many speaking English which was helpful. Very laid back, intimate, upscale. If you want "in town" this is the place.
