Where are you from ? I noticed an accent from you two. i have been to Las Terrenas 4 times now and hoping to go back really soon. I am from Canada and there are no beautiful beaches like that here. My girlfriend works in Playa Bonita. Never pay for Tour Guides ... you will be paying a lot more than getting advice from locals. I know friends who can get you anywhere much cheaper. You never showed any video of being close to El Limon waterfalls . How come ? It is very beautiful and really worth seeing.You won't be disapointed .

What accent?! 😉 We are from Croatia and Poland, living in Switzerland for many years. ☺️ Yeah, we were to tired during our trip to go closer to the waterfall and enjoyed the view from afar. 😅

Have been to Las Terrenas twice. I found that good restaurants are pretty expensive, comparable to the U.S. or more. Prices on the menue similar to the U.S., but then you have 18% sales tax, 20% service, and in addition the waiters want a tip.

Interessting… We didn‘t go to too many restaurants in Las Terrenas but the one we visited were definitely cheaper compared to US. But yeah, in general Las Terrenas is on the expensive side since it‘s quite popular. Additional tips and taxes are an US thing, don‘t you think? 😉

We’ve been going to the DR since 1999 and las Terranes for the last 7 years, we spend the month of January in Las Terranes, it’s a very busy town with a lot of motorcycles and people but they don’t show it in the video how busy It can get. They must of cleaned up the area before filming as there’s always trash on the streets and some beaches.

@@dreamsbecomewings good to hear, we love it there as my wife is Dominican, I call it a real life adventure as we don’t like all inclusive resorts so this we consider a real world adventure. We love eating at Neys and El dieciocho for better dining and for real world dining along the beach we go to Playa Dulce as she cooks fish the best. Great job on the video as it’s the best I’ve seen yet and I send it to my friends who want to travel with us …..for a less expense accommodations we stay at Costarena Beach but they have no kitchens but the view of the beach is majestic and now since we are staying a month we need a kitchen so we elected to stay this year at Hotel Playa Colibri along the same road.

Absolutely! We‘ve been 2 nights in an all-inclusive in Puerto Plata for Sara‘s birthday and this was for our taste enough. It was lovely but we also prefer it more authentical. ☺️
