I guess I'm the only one that references this to what I did with my ex. I didn't physically shoot him but I emotionally wrecked him and felt nothing. I'm proud that you recognized what you did, that's the first step in making a change and that's great. I totally understand that its probably really hard for you, I wasn't that great towards my sister when I was younger because my father was abusive as well I still hold on to it. But the best thing to do is let it go it's in the past the best you can do if you haven't maybe apologize it could honestly make you feel so much better I did that with my sister and it's okay if you cry while doing it. But you don't want to beat yourself over it because it's not worth it in all honesty.
