The IT support cert is also a way to get Into WGU if you have no prior IT experience, I’m currently taking the IT cert with the intent to go into cyber security, and it’s been great so far for getting my feet wet 👍🏻

I may finish this course within my 7 day trial... maybe 3-4 hours a "block" and I've learned a decent amount, but knew probably 3/4 of the material. It's an easy win in my book, and good break from the harder courses.

it’s so weird because i see so many people saying it’s useless but in my country it isn’t my father hired someone because she had that certificate (not only because of the certificate of course but seeing the certificate made them hire her over the other applicants)

They aren't useless if you learn the information. A lot of people have gotten jobs from them

certificates are basically quicker than degrees, but they add more projects to your portfolio, which is great and actually showcases your skills to potential employers.

Google IT support is a great place to start. It prepares you for the CompTIA A+ and is VERY easy to understand
